New Sony PS2 SCPH-90000 announcedSony announces a redesigned Sony PS2 console with integrated power adapter in Japan.

We just reportedabout a rumor on the weekend that Sony would release a new stream linedPlaystation 2 design. The rumor targeted a 2008 release date. This datemight be true for other regions. Japanese PS2 fans will get the newSony PS2 SCPH-90000 already on November 22nd for 16,000 Yen (~$140).

The price of the new Sony PS2 is the same as for the former designSCPH-79000 in Japan. The rumor talked about Sony going to offer thatnew Playstation 2 design for under $100. At least in Japan, consumershave to pay the same price. Sony also sells the vertical stand forextra money. The vertical stand for the new Sony PS2 sells for 1,500Yen (~$13).

The new Sony PS2 SCPH-90000 comes in white, silver and black as the former PS2 console was already available in Japan.

The Measurements of the new PS2 are 230 x 28 x 152mm and the weightis 720g. The dimensions of the new PS2 SCPH-90000 are exactly the sameas the last slim PS2 design. Only the weight is lower. So the only realdifference that you will actually see with this PS2 is that you do nothave a power supply lying around.

lgpun maybe sony target customer yg nak beli konsol yg murah mampu beli..

kira sony bleh target 2 jenis customer
1)utk customer yg nak konsol murah dgn game yg menarik (target yg bukan gamer heavy dan yg baru menceburi bidang gamers).Lgpun support komuniti yg besar utk PS2

2)PS3 utk gamer yg betul2 minat nak main game je keje bleh la target PS3.Yg pentingkan grafik tinggi etc

Maybe sony nak gunakan peluang yg ada nak ambik kesempatan.Ikut cara pengeluar komputer target pc utk pengguna yg berkemampuan,ada pc yg mahal utk pengguna yg nak pc power,ada gak just guna pc murah buat keje biasa2 je.Kalo semua pc/laptop mahal sapa yg nak beli kan..

sungguh hebat PS2 dalam dunia game ni..hingga tiga kali redesign console dengan minor internal adjustment but essentially the same with the first one

rasa takde console lain kena buat sampai macam tu sekali...ps1 pun sekali jer tukar rupa..

Pengaruh PS2 nie masih kuat........ lgpun byk lg game yg best2 utk ps2 nie. Tu aku rasa sony masih tumpu utk market ps2 nie.
