1408 is a 2007 film based on the Stephen King short story of the same name. Swedish film director Mikael H錰str鰉 is the director. The cast includes John Cusack, Samuel L. Jackson and Mary McCormack. The film was released in the US on June 22, 2007, although July 13th is mentioned as the release date in the trailer posted on the website. The film has been rated PG-13 for thematic material including disturbing sequences of violence and terror, frightening images, and language.

Synopsis
Author Mike Enslin's (Cusack) search for the supernatural has comeup empty and he's released a pair of bestsellers disproving myths andrumored hauntings. His latest subject is a hotel room in Manhattan with an ominous past. In his determination to prove the room's not haunted, Enslin may stumble into a real-life ghost story.

tapi jgn expect sgt la akan tyg next week, sbb distributor film ni adalah Tayangan Unggul.. sebelum ni bnyk film edaran Tayangan unggul yg kononnya akan relesae pada sesuatu tarikh tu, tapi alih2 bile hari tsb tibe tak jadi tayang...

dah tengok dah.. citer ni bestlah seram dia.. and picture dia clear giler.. dlm gelap pun leh nampak cantik gambar dia.. engaging enough..

Tak sabar nak tengok 1408 ni, punyelah aku bengkek bile filem ni tak tayang bulan Julai (sebab filem thriller lain, Vacancy main) ni tapi tarikh ditukar bulan Ogos 30hb. Dah rancang dengan awek nak tengok, melepass. Review filem ni aku tengok bagus2, ramai yang puji. Ini ialah filem thriller psikologi berunsur seram...so kalau nak tengok filem seram bodoh tgk jer Dead Silence yg tgh main tu. 1408 ni lebih mendalam, ader karektor n mesej tersirat yang kite perlu berfikir. Aku memang minat giler dengan penulis Stephen King ni...semue buku die saya ader. saya rasa kalau sesape nak mule baca buke penulis ni pilihlah buku IT yang lebih 1000mukesurat tuuu...hehehe. Lepas saye baca buku tu saya terus jadi peminat fanatik Stephen King seperti Annie dalam Misery tuuu. Buku die yang best giler pada pandangan saye ialah:
