"Open your eyes to a world that's brand new,
Not many come here;
you are one of the few who have dared to take a trip here.
There are amazing things like walking animals,
There are many more things like talking animals,
This is a world that is brand new,
Nothing has been touched;
this is all for you,
And there's only one way to get here,
so dare to take a look;
All you have to do is read a BOOK!"

dare to read in what sense?
dare to read everything hatta karya yang ada orang labelkan sampah sekalipun?
dare to read buku-buku yang mengembangkan minda dan meluaskan pandangan?

as of current, i adore najib tun razak for his extensive readings.. nora roberts pun dia baca taww!!!

that's why i respect dr m and anwar ibrahim last time, they read.. and it broadens their mind... and it shows in their decision!
if you noticed, dr m really have an extensive knowledge on economics.. whilst, anwar is more towards islamic readings

one day not so long ago, i shun books that are too bias on a subject.
i'd cringe and whinge on it, i just know it...

but on one fine day in kinokuniya, i picked up a book by Elie Wiesel titled Night and i embarked on a journey that has opened my distaste on political & religion matters.

Elie Wiesel is one of the survivor of Holocaust so he exposed what he went through as a witness to one of the most horrific massacre of 20th century. since then i keep looking out for critical books, especially the ones on biographical stuffs. now i got all trilogy of Night - Night, Dawn & Day

i am  a proud owner...

Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth,
Createth man from a clot.
Read: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous,
Who teacheth by the pen,
Teacheth man that which he knew not.
Nay, but verily man is rebellious
That he thinketh himself independent!
Lo! unto thy Lord is the return.
