kat sekolah anak mac, dia kena pilih samada nak belajar Arab, Japanese or French.

Mac prefer mandarin tapi sekolah dia tak offer mandarin.... so out of the languages above, which one would benefit her most in the future?

i would say arab. sebab itukan bahasa alQuran.

thx. thats what I have in mind. Dia pun ada basic Arab and good in her "agama" subjects. (student kesayangan ustazah) Yelah, terpikir la language mana yg she can use in her working life in future.... but then above all yg important, is bahasa agama kita la kan..... sampai bila nak pikir duniawi aje.....

mrs livingstone, anak mac nak masuk form 1 tahun depan.

i think arabic is the best...lgpun peluang bekerja kat middle east kan lebih terbuka skrg.
at least if your kid had the basics then dia dah tentu confirm bleh masuk UIA straightaway. then after that, do somekind of arabic translation services e.g tuitions + communication help to those who need it.

japanese? kalo dia minat takpelah...

french? once the third most important language in the world. now mandarin is getting the recognition...

my conclusion of choices:

1.Arabic
2. French
3. Mandarin
4. Japanese

Arabic would be best sbb bahasa Al-Qur'an, tapi kalau mac tanya dulu anak mac mana yg dia lebih cenderung pun lebih baik. Dont make it as if u r forcing ur child to take up something dia pun tak minat.

Tapi skrg byk juga parents non-malays yg hantar anak2 dia org belajar French sbb apparently studying in france is MUCH cheaper than other english-speaking countries, i was told by a french teacher yg SBP skrg akan guna syllabus yg bila student lps form 5, dia org at least ada language skill yg tinggi utk entrance to uni. So can save time on language course.

~my 2 cents~

tahniah kerana anak berjaya ke sekolah berasrama..
sebenarnya pemilihan bahasa antarabangsa ni
jangan letakkan soalan ' bahasa mana yang mudah?'
sebb setiap bahasa mempunyai senang dan susah masing2..
sebenarnya semuanya terpulang kepada minat anak2..
jangan kita memaksa anak mengikut kemahuan kita
kerana anak yang akan suffer di sekolah..
(pernah tengok a few cases)
terpulang kepada anak itu sendiri..
maksudnya

Update from anak Mac. Masa orientation week, bila dia dengar seniors bercerita, dia change her mind nak tukar from taking Arabic to French.

Bila dia tanya Mac, and Mac tengok dia berkobar2 cerita pasal French, Mac kata its up to her to make the decision. And in the end she decided to take up French.

Terimakasih atas pandangan semua.

kalau nak ikut minat aku.. aku suka nak belajar bahasa French.. sbb lenggok bahasa dia mcm ada Arab2 sikit dan jugak kalau dgr org bercakap dlm bhs French nie mmg seksi plak..:nerd: .. tapi, aku selalu gak nengok anime atau citer Jepun.. jadi aku pun suka sbb bahasa dia pun 'cute'.. bahasa Arab pun best.. bukan shj kerana kita baca Quran, tapi, apb org berkomunikasi dgn bahasa Arab tu, terasa indah dgr lenggok2 percakapan diorang.. worth belajar tiga2 sekali.. yg penting, bahasa kita pun best gak didengar dan dipelajari..

skolah anak mac mesti cam skolah aku dulu..n'way, kalau nak ikutkan yg paling senang it would be nihongo..aku dulu pun amik japanese gak..tgk dak2 yang amik french n arab fail memanjang..yg dpt A pun ade la dlm dua tiga ketul..lagipun, kalau blaja sampai level paling tinggi, leh apply for japanese speaking position..my bf does that..gaji pun lagi masyuk..cam aku ni idak le layak..blaja japanese setakat level 4 je..ade 4 level..level 4 paling rendah...

betul kata coyotemawi tu...
DELF tu ujian standard bg bhs perancis.
Dulu ada 6 tahap tp sekarang dah di'compact'kan sikit jadi 4.
so setiap DELF tu sekarang byk topik la yg masuk.
