tumpang tanya & nak mintak penjelasan tentang hadis di bawah ini. adakah ini hadis sahih & benarkah ini amalan tentera islam masa itu? thank in advance.


Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Book 62:

Volume 7, Book 62, Number 137:
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:

We got female captives in the war booty and we used to do coitus interruptus with them. So we asked Allah's Apostle about it and he said, "Do you really do that?" repeating the question thrice, "There is no soul that is destined to exist but will come into existence, till the Day of Resurrection."

sekiranya mengenai wanita yang ditawan, article dibawah menerangkan mengenai tawanan wanita.

kalau mengenai coitus interruptus, wallahua'lam saya tak tahu mengenai hukumnya. bukan sahaja terjadi ke atas hamba wanita, tetapi kepada isteri juga.

tak berapa faham, sorry..
yg saya faham drpd article yg bagi di atas, sekalipun mereka hamba, dlm hubungan seks mereka dilayan seperti isteri.. tawanan wanita dalam Islam tidak sama dengan hamba seks tentera jepun ataupon banduan wanita Iraq yg diperlakukan sesuka hati oleh tentera US sekarang..

We get female captives as our share of booty, and we are interested in their prices, what is your opinion about coitus interrupt us?" The Prophet said, "Do you really do that? It is better for you not to do it. No soul that which Allah has destined to exist, but will surely come into existence.


Volume 3, Book 46, Number 718:
Narrated Ibn Muhairiz:

I saw Abu Said and asked him about coitus interruptus. Abu Said said, "We went with Allah's Apostle, in the Ghazwa of Barli Al-Mustaliq and we captured some of the 'Arabs as captives, and the long separation from our wives was pressing us hard and we wanted to practice coitus interruptus. We asked Allah's Apostle (whether it was permissible). He said, "It is better for you not to do so. No soul, (that which Allah has) destined to exist, up to the Day of Resurrection, but will definitely come, into existence."


Volume 5, Book 59, Number 459:
Narrated Ibn Muhairiz:

I entered the Mosque and saw Abu Said Al-Khudri and sat beside him and asked him about Al-Azl (i.e. coitus interruptus). Abu Said said, "We went out with Allah's Apostle for the Ghazwa of Banu Al-Mustaliq and we received captives from among the Arab captives and we desired women and celibacy became hard on us and we loved to do coitus interruptus. So when we intended to do coitus interrupt us, we said, 'How can we do coitus interruptus before asking Allah's Apostle who is present among us?" We asked (him) about it and he said, 'It is better for you not to do so, for if any soul (till the Day of Resurrection) is predestined to exist, it will exist."


Volume 9, Book 93, Number 506:
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:

That during the battle with Bani Al-Mustaliq they (Muslims) captured some females and intended to have sexual relation with them without impregnating them. So they asked the Prophet about coitus interrupt us. The Prophet said, "It is better that you should not do it, for Allah has written whom He is going to create till the Day of Resurrection." Qaza'a said, "I heard Abu Sa'id saying that the Prophet said, 'No soul is ordained to be created but Allah will create it."


Volume 8, Book 77, Number 600:
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:

That while he was sitting with the Prophet a man from the Ansar came and said, "O Allah's Apostle! We get slave girls from the war captives and we love property; what do you think about coitus interruptus?" Allah's Apostle said, "Do you do that? It is better for you not to do it, for there is no soul which Allah has ordained to come into existence but will be created."

Hmm.. mungkin ada yg berbeza pendapat, tetapi ini adalah apa yg difahami sesetengah golongan, dan apa yg saya pegang.

Saya prefer refer kepada beberapa ayat Qur'an berkaitan captives / hamba ni, antaranya :

And those who guard their chastity. Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hand possess - for they are not to be blamed (Al-Ma'arij :29-30)
Who abstain from sex. Except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess; for they are free from blame (Al-Mu'minun : 5-6)

(perhatikan ayat asal bahasa arab, perkataan "au" digunakan)

Kedua-dua ayat ni diturunkan di Makkah. Bagaimanapun, ayat yg kemudiannya diturunkan di Madinah berbunyi begini :

Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands posses. Thus hath God ordained (prohibitions) against you. Except for these, all others are lawful, provided ye seek (them in marriage) with gifts from your property; desiring chastity, not lust, seeing that ye derive benefit from them, give them their dowers as prescribed, but if, after a dower is prescribed, agree mutually, there is no blame on you, and God is All-Knowing, All-wise (An-Nisa' : 24)

If any of you have not the means wherewith to wed free believing women, they may wed believing girls from among those whom your right hands possess. And God hath full knowledge about your faith. Ye are one from another; Wed them with the leave of their owners, and give them their dowers, according to what is reasonable. (part of An-Nisa' :25)

tawanan wanita dalam jagaan tentera islam masa lalu tidak dibenarkan diperkosa tanpa batas. Jika khalifah Islam pada masa itu membuat keputusan tawanan  itu diagihkan kepada tentera Islam sebagai hamba (yg mana bergantung kepada keadaan semasa), wanita itu akan menjadi tanggungan penuh tentera Islam tersebut dan tidak boleh dikongsi dengan orang lain. Tentera Islam itu bertanggungjawab sepenuhnya terhadap hamba itu, boleh mengahwininya, membebaskannya kalau ditebus keluarganya dan lain-lain perkara yang dibenarkan Islam dilakukan terhadap hamba. Selalunya keputusan khalifah Islam itu adalah dibuat berdasarkan perlakuan musuh Islam yang ditewaskan itu kepada rakyat Islam.

Setahu saya hamba boleh diperolehi melalui:

i) tawanan perang negara Islam vs Kafir untuk mempertahankan agama (perang jihad), berdasarkan keputusan
khalifah negara Islam tersebut.
ii) melalui keturunan dari hamba yang belum merdeka.

Hamba TIDAK boleh diperolehi dari orang yang tidak membayar hutang (ala cerita P. Ramlee) atau orang gaji Indon / GRO (spt sesetengah
orang bernafsu besar beriqtiqad zaman sekarang!!)

kalau tentera islam itu membuat hubungan seksual dgn hamba tawanan perangnya & memperoleh anak, adakah anaknya itu consider hamba or orang merdeka?
bolehkah tentera islam menyetubuhi hamba2nya yg bukan beragama islam? kalau dpt anak, anak itu nak ikut agama ibunya or tentera tersebut?
ada limit tak berapa orang hamba yg boleh disetubuhi pd satu2 masa?

1.Bila hamba melahirkan anak Tuannya, anak itu dikira merdeka dan bukan mengikut status ibunya kecuali Tuannya yakni bapanya memerdekakan ibunya!

2. Bila hamba mengikut Tuannya, yakni Islam, maka agama hambanya dikira Islam sebab hamba dikira mengikut tuan kecuali hamba islam yang  bertuankan orang kafir!

3. Orang lelaki dibenarkan berkahwin seramai 4 orang! Bagi wanita merdeka! Bab hamba bergantung kepada kemampuan Tuannya!

saya ingat ada banyak faktor yang membuat perkara ini boleh berlaku..mungkin salah satu ianya merupakan kebiasaan masyarakat masa itu..tambahan faktor-faktor ekonomi kerana selalunya hamba2 ini banyak membantu keluarga tuan dalam pelbagai hal (masa tu tak ada teknologi, jadi semua kerja buat secara manual, yg mana amatlah susah dan memakan masa kalau isteri-isteri dan hamba tak bersatu padu).

Some more details, yang berilmu lebih sila betulkan kalau saya tersilap:

Kalau tak salah saya, mengikut islam, hamba wanita yang telah disetubuhi atau mempunyai anak dengan tuannya tidak boleh dijual oleh tuan tersebut juga tidak boleh dikahwinkan dengan hamba/orang  lain sehingga seumur hidupnya, hanya boleh dikahwininya terus oleh tuan secara merdeka (kalau dia ada kosong dari quota 4 perempuan merdeka) atau dimerdekakan sahaja agar dia boleh berkahwin dengan orang lain yang merdeka.

So sebagai tuan, kewajiban dan  tanggungjawab tambahan yang diletakkan oleh Islam bila membuat keputusan menyetubuhi seseorang hamba wanita agak besar. Bukan just untuk fun-fun sahaja.
