I noted you are new. I have debated with Debmey not long ago on atheism. Look at some of the old posts and you will find them.

As a note.
When you ask "are you an atheist?" you need to have a very open mind as there a lot of meanings & perspective on the word 'atheists'.

If is just like asking, What is love?. Basically love is something like bonding, but there are thousands of ways of describing it.
It is the same with the word 'atheist' as far as i am concern.

Personally, i do not accept the 'God Exist' theory.
For simplicity and discussion purposes i may be called an atheist, but i would like to different from the normal perceived atheists. Do not associate me with 'terrorists' atheists. FYI Buddhists are also atheists.

Strictly and specifically i would like to be called  'APWDNATGET',  which means A Person Who Do Not Accept The God Exists Theory.  As you can see 'APWDNATGET' is not a practical word, so we use the nearest word 'atheist'. My inclination would be more of a rationalist-atheist.

I not very interested in discussing evolution. However i do believe evolution of the specie based on solid available evidences that demonstrate evolution that occur during for a certain period of time. I will avoid speculations that humans are decended from monkeys.

I think it is a waste of time for me.
It would better to understand how your own human brain evolve and what is going on and happening in the otak.

I don't really agree on this.Buddhists lack belief in materialism and objective reality where all atheists believe in.This is a distinguishing factor that sets atheists apart from buddhists.Perhaps calling buddhists as quasi-atheists or as non-theists would be a more accurate term?

The definition of an atheist is very simple, but you will never see mucho directly admit to it. Just look at the previous threads.

Anyway, it is illogical for one to be an atheist.

theres no such thing as a rationalist atheist btw....

Its true, we are all atheist when we were born.
Parents and teachers brain wash us into believing deities and turn us into Hindus, Bahais, BuddistChristians..catholics, protestants methodist etc, Muslims.. shaia sunni sufis etc
