if you are going to follow old mosaic laws in DUETERONOMY i suggest you go the whole hock - including laws governing ownership of slaves - i suppose with so much usage of indon maids - you might as well adopt these mosaic laws.

The main reason for such rule is to test our iman... that if one believes in God, one should obey Him without question.

Even if the quran says that a muslim must not eat chicken, we will follow the rule because we have faith in Allah, we will obey our God.

We do it in the name of God.

Let us all refrain from eating pork. Chinese nowadays in Malaysia & Singapore seldom eats pork unless it is cooked into char siu or something that looks good and smells good.

I remember a documentary shown in Singapore. The pig slaughter house. The scream of the pig was so horrible that the workers even though worked for 20 years still need to put on ear plug to avoid hearing it.   the most important discovery is that almost all pigs have tumor inside their body! Most people who works in the pig slaughter house or those who sells pork seldom eats it. This is also reported in Taiwan. They obviously saw the abnormal growth.

The worst has not come yet,who know's in the future a new dangerous disease will emerged causes by pigs....until now even boiling a pig at 100Celcius cannot killed the worms in a pig!!!....there's a reason for eveything in islam...

all the reasons u stated there also discuss in islam like wearing a good cloth to cover the body from dust,sunshine and cold, food that we can eat and drinks that we cannot drink, wearing a hijab to protect from UV effect...etc

Hmmm... and some still shun clothes after they have been baptized  into paul's religion, but not to shed their belief ~  more  to extend it further ~ into 'stark' reality..;)

Heax, I can't remember the title because it was many years ago during my secondary schooling. It's a Chinese documentary. If not mistaken, part of the series show called Jiao Dian (Focal Point). I asked my friend whose father is a pork seller about the tumor thing. He said this has become very common. They call it "zhong liu" (tumor in english scientific term).
