Baby Boom
Cast: Li Nanxing (as Timothy Chua or Tim), Zoe Tay (as Kimberly Goh or Kim), Gurmit Singh (Adam Lee), Pan Lingling (Lu Xiaofen), Michelle Saram (Kristen), Jamie Yeo (Angel)
The stuff of every yuppie couple's dream: The 5 Cs - Car, Condominium, Cash, Credit Card, Career.
But where does the 6th C: Children figure in their lives? Kim and Tim, the typical yuppie couple, never thought that they would come face to face with the question.
On their 38th birthday celebration, Kim and Tim find their threadmill-like life of pursuing a stylish lifestyle of cars, PDAs and high-teas meaningless and senseless.
Something is lacking. Just what is it?
When Tim loses his chnace for promotion to Adam, his philandering colleague Adam who has kids and a family, thoughts of starting a family begin to take shape in his mind. Meanwhile, Kim has a brush with suspected miscarriage.
Kim and Tim's previous bleak thoughts of having children soon give way to clear blue skies of gasp, desiring and wanting children!
So begin their journey to start a family through In-Vitro Fertilisation (INV). Little did they know they will be blessed with not one, not two but four little bundles of joy!
The initial shock is no match for the realities of starting a family.
Besides agreeing on parenting methods, the first-time parents also have to deal with their overly-enthusiastic parents and in-laws who as you guessed, want to have a say in raising their grandchildren.
Kim soon regrets the decision to have kids. To add to it, she suffers from post-natal depression. Peace and her state of mind are finally restored when their parents and in-laws all agree to restrain themselves and not put pressure on the young parents.
Three years pass and the 4 'babies' grow up. Kim and Tim are able to channel their energy back into work while the 4 grandparents resume their old hobbies and routine.
But just as squealing babies present one set of headaches, the growing little tots now present yet another set of problems for their working parents.
Inculcating the right social behaviour, getting them used to school as well as keeping up with the Joneses in the exam scores department are just some of the issues faced by Tim & Kim.
No kidding (pun intended), there are more problematic issues surrounding Tim and Kim.
Their relationship is put to the test when Kristen, a stunning head-turner professes her love for Tim. Their worst nightmare also comes true when they find themselves evolving into kiasu Singaporean parents!

Kim, a top-notch producer, leads a carefree life with her husband Tim, a leading executive in an airline. Tim' colleague Adam, is married to Kim's former classmate, Xiaofen. Adam is a flirt. Kim urges Xiaofen to change her dowdy, housewife-y image to stop Adam from straying while Xiaofen encourages Kim to have children to complete her family.

Kim quarrels with Tim's sister Jingwen, while on an assignment. Adam is quite sure that Tim will be promoted to CEO after their boss leaves. Tim leaves a good impression on Kris when he does not take advantage of her after a round of drinks.

Episode 3
Kim does not want to keep the baby. Tim is appalled when Adam tells the entire office. Kim and Tim enjoy a day together after she gets injured at work. However they soon start quarrelling about the baby. Kim tells A-mei about her pregnancy after seeing her avoid the neighbours because she has no grandchildren. Later, a disappointed Kim & Tim hears from their doctor that Kim is not pregnant. A despondent Tim takes the day off and asks Kris out. He is stunned when she expresses her love for him. |

Kim heeds the advice she reads about conceiving and tries to be cheerful. Her attempt to get intimate with Tim at the correct time is thwarted by Mingzheng and Xiujuan. The couple decides to undergo artificial insemination after seeing Colin, a gynaecologist. Mingzheng, Xiujuan, Xingwang and A-mei are exhilarated when Kim finally gets pregnant. The big shock: She has conceived quadruplets!

hmmm cik Senah ... saya tgk pukul 12.30am punya
saya tak tgk yg repeat .... sebb saya tau time siang ada cite lain ...
utk episode ari ...
maka 4 baby baru .... balik ke umah
parents Tim n Kim jaga .. diorg bergilir jaga w/pun susah n diorg ni cuai sedikit
maner tak nya muka baby2 tu dah ler lebih kurang sama .. pastu memasing ada kerenah yg berbeza
so si Kim ni mengalami perut buncit ... coz mengandung 4 baby
n Kim cam malas nak pedulikan kata parents dia ...
org bersalin kene la berpantang tp Kim tak nak ...
so lambat la Kim nak kuruskan perutnya ...
then ada ler beberapa kejadian berlaku
first ... San Bao kene penyakit demam kuning ...
Kim prasan masa tgk baby2 tido n diorg ni baru pas balik dr jamuan meraikan kelahiran 4 kembar ni ...
so ngan gelabah sakan .. Kim, Tim n parents diorg berkejar ke umah Xia Fen, kakak Tim ... pastu hubby Xia Fen ni bgtau ler ... San Bao ni kene jemur kat tgh panas ari2 ....
so Tim n Kim ni berjaga ler kat luar sebb nak tunggu matahari terbit sampai tertido kat luar ....
then bapak Kim ni kuar n jerit .. dah siang .. matahari dah kuar
so diorg dia terkocoh-kocoh bawak kuar tilam .. bantal n segala benda lah
Tim gi keje n Kim tido sebb penat pastu telefon Kim berbunyi ...
then masa tgh borak .. Kim nampak something jatuh dari atas
dengan speed of lite .... Kim berlari ke atas n tgk San Bao dah ilang .... merata cari sampai mak dia yg baru balik dr pasar pun terkejut
Kim menangis tak sesudah .. sampai call Tim kat tmpt keje ....
cari punya cari last2 diorg gi ke kedai pau ayah Kim
rupanya San Bao ada kat belakang kedai .... ayah Kim bawak tanpa inform sesapa ...
Kim begang giler pastu marah2 smua ...
Kim nekad nak jaga semua baby tanpa pertolongan sesapa
then ... since kejadian tuh .....
Kim tak tido .. asyik2 jaga ... pastu sampai nak mkn pun kat bilik baby
yg parents Kim n Tim ni risau ler sebb diorg ni dah faham benar ngan kerenah cucu diorg ...
so sebb risau .. diorg gi umah Xia Fen n tanya nape Kim berkelakuan pelik
ler rupanya Kim kene penyakit gila meroyan ...
Tim risau ler ..... tp abang ipar dia kata .. Kim masih peringkat awal n boleh diatasi ngan ubat n kene beri perhatian n kasih sayang sepenuhnya ...
so ... esoknya ...
baby menangis ... 4 baby menangis ... Kim cuba tenangkan diorg
pastu Kim call Tim .. dah time tu lak Tim dlm meeting
meeting penting .....
Kim suruh Tim balik segera n tolong dia ....
Tim takleh n suruh Kim mintak tolong kat parents ....
Kim tak nak n ugut kat Tim ....
then pas abis meeting ... Tim terus balik
then tgk parents dia tgh tgk Kim mandikan baby ..
lama giler nak dkat sejam
so Tim pun pujuk lah ...
kata baby tu dah demam .. mandi lama sgt
pastu Kim prasan .. cam tersedar dari tido .....
trus angkat baby tu ... n parents diorg angkat lagi 3 ...
then Tim pujuk Kim mkn ubat ... n kata diorg sayangkan Kim n baby2 tuh
n tak nak Kim sakit ...
so sambung next week ..........

ooo...malam tadi saya stat tgk yg mlm punye lak....memang lain sket...bezanya 2 episod..sebab semalam siang tayang episod lima..malam tadi tgk episod 7...tapi best lagi tgk mlm rasenya sebab tak banyak iklan...
kelaka giler tgk ayah dan mak kim dan tim jaga cucu diorg..kalut betull...yg aku gelak sesangat tuh tgk bapak kim letak cucu dia kat atas tempat kuih pau..punyalaa tinggi...
takut gak tgk kim mengamuk...abih suma mak dan ayah dia takut... |
