Silat Gayong asal mula dari Silat suku Bugis Indonesia ?

History
Seni Gayong originated among the Bugis people of Sulawesi and was called Silat Sendi Harimau. Literally meaning "tiger joint silat", the system utilized the tiger claw technique to lock opponents' joints. The Bugis prince Daeng Kuning, descended from a long line of warriors, brought the style to the Malay Peninsula in the 1800s. It was eventually passed down to his great-grandson Meor Abdul Rahman.
The teaching of Seni Gayong, as with most styles of silat, was once restricted to relatively few students under each master. In 1942 during the Japanese Occupation, Meor Abdul Rahman taught Seni Gayong publicly in Sudong island, Singapore when the locals feared an attack by the Japanese. Having inherited the art from his father, Dato Meor Abdul Rahman eventually founded Malaysia's first martial arts association, Pertubuhan Silat Seni Gayong Malaysia. It was and still remains the method of unarmed combat taught to the Royal Malaysia Police force

it's a fact, Sejarah tidak pernah bohong, memang Indonesia adalah Nusantara yang sebenarnya, sebutan dan concept "Nusantara" pun itu dibuat oleh Panglima Perang Gadjah Mada asal kerajaan Majapahit

paham Concept dan Nama tak ? sebutan Nusantara dan Wilayah Nusantara itu yang buat adalah Kerajaan Jawa pada tahun 1300, kami ada benda sejarah kat Museum, semua nama dan gambar peta Nusantara ada di batu, kuliat hewan dan kulit kayu

Ini kelakar..tanah ,elayu y islam dulu dari indon and of coz silat mmg ada kaitan dgn agama islam kt tanah melayu. Sape y blaja silat gayong tau la ttg gayong.
Dari kajian semua tau silat gayong asal dari adiputra, dn diajar pd hang tuah. Ni citer setakat tuan guru meor je ke plg jauh? |
