Posh plans WAG wedding

Victoria Beckham appears to have taken on the role as wedding planner for new best pal Cheryl Tweedy's forthcoming nuptials.

According to Cheryl, the majority of her chit chat to Posh at the World Cup in Germany was about her wedding to footie star Ashley Cole.

With just over a week to go until the WAG wedding of the year, Posh has decided to step in and provide the Girls Aloud singer with a stunning wedding gown.

The former Spice Girl has enlisted the help of friend and designer Roberto Cavalli, who has agreed to produce a wedding dress which Posh has insisted will be "amazing".

The gown is thought to be costing an astounding ?110,000, but money is of course no object for Cheryl and Ashley.

Unfortunately Victoria will not be able to see the final result in action as she will not be attending the ceremony.

The Beckham's have apparently booked a family holiday which clashes with Cheryl's date down the aisle.

SORRY POSH HAS LOST HER SWAGGER

POOR Posh. It comes to something when the only way she can get her face on the front pages is to swagger down Bond Street on six-inch heels, wearing a skin-tight leather skirt and a blouse slashed to the navel exposing her beachball bosoms.

It's not sexy, it's not sophisticated... but it IS sad, and it's indicative of the desperation of a woman who knows her days in the spotlight are numbered.

The Ultimate Footballers' Wife who until now has been the undisputed queen of the game is about to be deposed by an army of younger, prettier, more fun-loving models led by Coleen McLoughlin who, unlike Posh, understands the concept of fun.

You just had to look at the barefooted Coleen and the rest of the WAGs getting soaked to the skin on a rollercoaster ride in Baden Baden last week to know that Posh's inability to be "real" is no longer what's required from a Footballers' Wife.

The girls on that rollercoaster didn't give a monkey's about their sodden wet hair, their smudged make-up or the fact they were all photographed with their mouths wide open screaming at the top of their voices. That's because, unlike Posh, their lives aren't ruled by 'branding' or making money - just spending it.

You'd never see Posh letting go like that and it's not just because she's an older woman with three kids to take care of. It's because Posh has forgotten how to have fun. She has spent her entire adult life perfecting an image for the cameras, an image that has made her incredibly rich but with the consequence that her whole life is an act.

Nor does she have the kind of personality that will allow her to let go and make a complete banana of herself. She can't be silly or frivolous in public because it would affect " Brand Beckham", which is why she'd never allow herself to be photographed soaking wet and screaming like a banshee - well, not unless it had been styled by Vanity Fair.

No, the persona Posh has created for herself keeps her like a prisoner clad in designer irons. She can't allow herself to look anything other than perfect and that makes for a pretty unfulfilling life which is already reflected in her face.

With Posh, everything is about image - the way she looks, the way she sounds and how people perceive her. Unlike Coleen, of course, who nips out of her hotel every day to buy a double cheeseburger and doesn't give a stuff what people think. And instead of just having a good time with the girls, Posh chose to jump on a plane to London for an emergency session with her hairdresser because someone had printed a photo of her that made her look like she had a bald patch, to which her response should have been "So what?"

And think about it - when was the last time you saw Posh laugh? And I don't mean one of those pouts or those rictus grins where she bares her teeth in an attempt to convince us all how happy she and David are. I mean, when did you ever see her throw back her head and let out a big belly laugh?

I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually feel sorry for Posh. These last two weeks in Baden Baden she's been out-wagged.

She now looks like yesterday's woman and her desperation to remain Queen Bee is why she wore those dreadful micro shorts which barely covered her internal organs and were way too young for your average 18-year-old, let alone a supposedly sophisticated mother of three.

And what she doesn't realise is that if only she'd joined in the fun, if only she'd let her hair extensions down, if only she'd gone on that rollercoaster and got mussed up a bit we'd have loved her for it.

But she's too entrenched, too wrapped up in money and image and too scared to let anyone see that she might not be quite so Posh after all.

POSH and Becks are trying for their fourth baby ? and this one looks set to be made in Europe.

The couple are said to be desperate to have a daughter. And they're not wasting any time getting on with it as they romp their way around the continent.

Becks, 31, has told close pals they've been trying non-stop for a baby. A source told the News of the World: "They've had their problems in the past but they're all gone. It's as if they're on their honeymoon again. They just can't stop touching and kissing each other."

The couple already have three sons ? Brooklyn, seven, Romeo, three, and one-year-old Cruz. But the source added: "David has told us he can't wait to be a father again and another child, especially a daughter, would complete the family."

The pair have been holidaying in the South of France, Marbella, and Italy. And they snogged for THREE FULL MINUTES in front of stunned guests at an exclusive restaurant in Portovenere.

One said: "David couldn't keep his eyes or his hands off Posh. They were in the restaurant for five hours and kept kissing in between courses. They didn't care who saw them."

The lovebirds are now cruising on a ?20million yacht owned by Posh's designer friend Roberto Cavalli.

And it's clear from these snaps they don't need any help floating their boat.

Anorexics find Posh a 'thinspiration'

Victoria Beckham has been showing off her slender frame in tiny shorts and skin-tight T-shirts during the World Cup.

But it is feared that the 31-year-old's ultra-slim figure is making her a 'thinspiration' for anorexics.

The mother of three and former Posh Spice is cited by many suffererers from the eating disorder as the celebrity they would most like to look like - and she has been hailed on pro-anorexia websites.

Mrs Beckham has said she was 'very close' to an eating disorder while in the Spice Girls - but claims not to have any problems now.

However, a recent posting on a proanorexia website said: "Beautiful children, beautiful husband and she, herself, is about perfect. I wonder if there is a published Victoria Beckham 'diet' out there?"

Another said: "I envy her thin legs and chest. She has beautiful bones sticking out of her chest."

And on another site, as anorexics discussed whether she was the "best thinspiration", fans wrote: "Posh is a major inspiration from celebrities like Catherine Zeta- Jones or Coleen McLoughlin. They both look beautiful without having stick-insect catwalk bodies.'"

Following an outcry about her weight after her first son Brooklyn was born, Victoria admitted that she was too thin, but insisted she eats "like a pig".

Three years ago her husband was moved to speak of his concerns that she was losing too much weight after Brooklyn's birth.

David Beckham told a U.S. chat show how he saw a picture showing her looking dangerously thin in a short leather dress - and realised her weight was a problem.

The photograph was taken at The Ivy restaurant in London, at a birthday-party for Elton John's partner David Furnish in December 1999 - eight months after she had given birth.

Beckham said: "The next day I saw the picture in the paper and said: 'Have you seen this?' The headline was 'Skeletal Spice'."

He said he was particularly worried about her shrinking frame in the months after she became a mother because she was actually eating properly.

During the same interview, with broadcaster Barbara Walters on the American talk show 20/20, Mrs Beckham herself also referred to her obsession with her weight while she was in the Spice Girls.

"It was awful, she said. "I was very obsessed. I could have told you the calorie and fat content in anything."

Last night, a spokesman for Mrs Beckham refused to comment.

Expensive Yacht Helps Rekindle Beckham's Love



Isn't it amazing what a big vessel can do for a woman and a marriage? David and Victoria Beckham have had a rough time over their seven year marriage, but ever since the recent World Cup loss and Beckham's resignation as captain, there has been a shift in the marriage. This only happened two weeks ago, but I guess a good two weeks seems like an eternity for some.

And as the couple enjoyed a leisurely cruise around the Italian coast, they showed they are getting on better than they have done for years. The Beckhams were openly affectionate as they relaxed aboard fashion designer Roberto Cavalli's ?20million luxury yacht.
"David has been very low and withdrawn since the World Cup disaster and he has really depended on Victoria," a source close to the couple said.

"They have spent hours on end talking, drinking wine and holding hands as they try and work through his sadness at England's performance. For the first time in a long time, he is not the adored hero and his confidence is at an incredibly low ebb."

Now the 31-year-old footballer, can better appreciate how his wife suffered as her career waned, said the source.

"And, unlike the way he belittled her when she was feeling down, he has really been touched by the way she has been there for him.

"She is discussing a big deal with Roberto Cavalli and she has even been joking with David that it is his turn to take a breather because she is hoping that soon she will be in a position to support him."

Fingers are crossed for the couple.
