US president Barack Obama ripped into Zach Galifianakis when he appeared on The Hangover actor’s online comedy series Between Two Ferns. Posted to Funny or Die today, the six-and-a-half minute skit sees the pair discuss Bradley Cooper, same-sex divorce, whether or not Obama is a ‘nerd’ and the Affordable Healthcare Act, among other things. Obama started on the offensive… ‘When I heard that people actually watch this show, I was actually pretty surprised,’ he began. ‘What is it like to be the last black president?’ retorted Galifianakis. ‘What’s it like for this to be the last time you ever talk to a president?’ Obama quipped back. ‘It must kind of stink, though, that you can’t run three times?’ the comedian continued. ‘If I ran a third time it would be like doing a third Hangover movie. It didn’t really work out very well, did it?’ said Obama. The duo carried on like this for a time before Galifianakis got to the crux of the matter. ‘OK, let’s get this out of the way, what did you come here to plug?’ Obama then went off on a tangent, talking about healthcare.gov and why young Americans should to sign up for health insurance before the March 31 deadline before hitting the panic button on the table in front, prompting the standard black back drop to fall to the ground revealing a room that appeared to be in the white house. ‘Thanks for letting me shoot my show here all these years,’ said Galifianakis, claiming former president George Bush had given him clearance to film there. -Metro-
