Tonight's the night. The 2014 Oscars kick off in a matter of hours and this year the competition is tougher than ever with an array of talent in the major categories and so far no clear frontrunner for the Best Picture gong. So which actors, actresses and films are EntertainmentWise readers predicting as tonight's champs?

With the race wide open this year we asked you earlier this week which film you reckon will take home the all important Best Picture Oscar tonight. Despite it seeming like a three horse race between David O. Russell's crime caper American Hustle, Steve McQueen's slavery epic 12 Years a Slave and Alfonso Cuaron's space thriller Gravity, you lot have crowned a clear winner.

Gravity emerged top of the poll with an impressive 40% of the vote. 12 Years meanwhile ended on 32% while American Hustle could manage just 14%. It doesn't look like the other six contenders including Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street even have a chance of making it up to that podium.

While Blue Jasmine's Cate Blanchett was the clear winner over Gravity lead Sandra Bullock for the Best Actress prize things were even clearer in the Best Actor poll.

The Best Actor shortlist is one of the most competitive of recent years with Leonardo DiCaprio up against Dallas Buyers Club lead Matthew McConaughey, Brit Chiwetel Ejiofor for 12 Years a Slave, Nebraska's Bruce Dern and American Hustle star Christian Bale.

This is Leo's fourth time on the nominee list following his first nod as a teenager for What's Eating Gilbert Grape. The popular star has certainly got the fan's backing, with many arguing that this year should be Leo's year and it looks like EntertainmentWise readers agree, giving him a whopping 50% of the vote. In second place was Matt with 22% while BAFTA winner Chiwetel came in third with 17%.

Over in the Supporting categories, Jared Leto looks set to clinch the Supporting Actor trophy thanks to his role in Dallas Buyers Club, with EntertainmentWise readers awarding the actor turned musician turned actor again a huge 62% of the vote.

Finally for Best Supporting Actress it looks like it could be two wins in a row for Jennifer Lawrence with you lot reckoning the American Hustle star will triumph over her nearest rival, 12 Years' newcomer Lupita Nyong'o, who managed 27%.
