Less than a day after we saw its purported specs, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 made another unscheduled appearance. An alleged press image of the upcoming slate made the rounds on Twitter, courtesy of @evleaks. Unsurprisingly, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 looks almost identical to its predecessor. The electronics giant worked hard to bring the design language which began with the Sony Xperia Z to its range of high-end products, so the tablet is certain to look as premium as it gets with a thin, waterproof body made of metal and glass. However, we can’t help but note that the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 sports huge by today’s standards screen screen bezels. We reckon that this is the price to pay for having the tablet IP certified. Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 is expected to launch during MWC with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 10.1” 1080p display, and Android 4.4 KitKat, all tucked into a 6.4mm thin body. We will be there live to bring you the full scoop on the slate. GSMArena
