Rosie Perez has revealed some juicy deets in her upcoming memoir! The actress and dancer has opened up about her time working with Jennifer Lopez back in the 1990s. The two used to dance on the sketch comedy show In Living Color, and apparently things didn’t go so well between the two at the time. According to an E! News report, the 49-year-old has revealed in her new memoir that her and J Lo didn’t get along at all. She revealed that one day Jennifer Lopez “went off” on her. She claims that J Lo turned into "some ghetto biatch, screaming and pounding her chest". According to the report, Jennifer Lopez eventually went on to make “disparaging comments” about Perez, which really disappointed her. "I was blindsided," Perez explained. “I’d thought we were cool. I called her up. She wouldn't pick up. Frustrated, I left her an irate message on her answering machine." Rosie had hoped that the two could talk things over. However, things didn’t work out so well as Jennifer apparently went on a major talk show and spoke negatively of Perez. “Instead of calling me back and hashing it out like friends do, she went on a major talk show and reiterated my lashing," she revealed. Despite the long feud, Rosie doesn’t want it to be the focus of her time in the entertainment industry. She believes that it is especially important for women for color to avoid feuds. "We ladies of color all know how hard it is for us in the entertainment business," she wrote. "This kind of s**t hurts us all and those that follow in our footsteps."
