The singer ventured out of her hotel to perform at an exclusive private members club in Mayfair– and we doubt that her style will blend in in the posh venue.

The star turned herself into a walking piece of art as she donned a colourful tunic covered with surrealist Picasso drawings.

The top featured many opposing faces, as well as lined sections and graphic shapes.

But Gaga didn't stop with her arty jumper to make a statement.

On her journey out of her London hotel, the Born This Way singer kept one eye closed to display her bizarre black painted eyelid.

And it looked like she had been taking make-up tips from Adam Ant, as she splashed blocks of red and yellow paint across her face.

She finished her ensemble with a black hat, a pink 80s-themed frilled skirt, fishnet stockings, and lemon fringed loafers.

And that's not forgetting the tousled black dreadlocks that hung over her golden hair, which she seemed to have shaved off on one side.

While her artistic attire seemed to have been inspired by 80s icons like Boy George, Gaga gushed about another musical idol as she filmed an interview for Alan Carr: Chatty Man.

On the show which airs tonight, the eclectic star heaped praise on Ziggy Stardust himself, David Bowie.

She told Alan: "He's sort of like an alien prince. He still runs my universe as well, like, every morning I wake up and I think, 'What would Bowie do?'"

Also on the show, she admitted that she had weed in a bin AGAIN in the studios because the toilet was too far away, and explained her love for marijuana.

The weed-loving singer said: "The thing that I fell in love with about it is that I completely forget that I'm famous. I totally forget about it all. I take a puff and I'm me when I was 17 again in my white go-go boots looking for a job, and there's something quite creative and liberating about that."

Gaga will also be performing tomorrow night at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball.

And here’s Picasso’s “Girl Before A Mirror” for reference:
