Taxi driver charged with robbing Bangladeshi October 16, 2012 KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 16 — A taxi driver pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here today to a charge of committing armed gang robbery on a Bangladeshi man last week. M. Ganapathy, 43, together with another person still at large, was charged with robbing Md Rofiool Islam, 27, at knife-point of about RM1,000 at the Segambut railway station in Sentul here at 11.30am on October 9. If found guilty, Ganapathy could be jailed up to 20 years and will also be liable to be caned.
