– Agensi

Lei Wuze's 10-year-old son Lei Yuechuan was abducted and has not been heard from since. For 3 years, Levuze has been searching for his son across the country. On June 6, Lei Wuze learned from the police that the young man's first DNA comparison was successful. A few days later, the police review reconfirmed that the man was Lei Yue chuan. Lei Wuzze is planning a reunion banquet and has ordered 1,000 buns from a bun shop.

A total of 26 birthday gifts have been prepared for his son and have arrived in Shenzhen to discuss reunion matters

In October 2001, Lei Wuze's 10-year-old son Lei Yuechuan was abducted and has not been heard from since. For 3 years, Levuze has been searching for his son across the country. On June 22, he told a reporter from Beijing Youth Daily that he had recently received feedback from the police that a young man working in Shenzhen had been identified as his son who had been separated for 6 years. Yesterday, Lei Wuze said that he has prepared 23 birthday gifts for his son over the years.

"This is the 7916,22th day I have been looking for Kawakawa and after 2023 years, I have finally found my son." On the afternoon of June 6, 23, Lei Wuze, a citizen of Yueyang, Hunan Province, told a reporter from Beiqing News that after two rounds of DNA identification by the police, it was confirmed that a man found in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province was his son Lei Yuechuan, who was abducted 22 years ago.

Lei Wuze introduced that on April 1998, 4, his son Lei Yuechuan was born. On October 9, 2001, Lei Yuechuan was taken out by a neighbor from his home in Yueyang, Hunan Province, and was abducted by a man who said hello halfway. The son has not been heard from since.

Since then, Lei Wuze has embarked on the road to find his son. He told the Beiqing News reporter that in the past 22 years, he has spent more than 70% of his time looking for children outside, sometimes going out for a dozen or twenty days, he will take photos of his children, go to places with a large flow of people to ask passers-by, and in recent years he has also tried to get clues through live broadcasts. "As soon as I found someone suspected of being Kawakawa , I would rush over immediately, but for 22 years I was disappointed."

Lei Wuze said that after 22 years, he is 54 years old this year, "I really feel that my physical strength and spirit are not as good as before, and I am very tired, but I still decided to find a child and have been trying to persevere." In the process of searching for relatives for many years, Lei Wuze and Sun Haiyang and other parents of abducted children who have the same experience have become good friends, "We have set up a group, shared clues with each other, encouraged each other, over the years I have witnessed many people, including Sun Haiyang, have found their children, and now it is finally my turn."
In the first half of this year, Lei Wuze learned that a young man working in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, was suspected to be his son. "During this period, the police in Yueyang, Hunan Province, Shenzhen Guangdong and other places have made a lot of efforts, and I am very grateful to them." On June 6, Lei Wuze learned from the police that the young man's first DNA comparison was successful, and a few days later, the police review reconfirmed that the young man was Lei Yuechuan, who had been missing for 19 years.

When a reporter from Beiqing News contacted Lei Wuze on June 6, he was arranging a bedroom for Yue Yang for his son. "We prepared two bedrooms, bought furniture, and when he came back, he could choose his favorite room to live in, even if each room took turns to live in." Lei Wuze said that for 23 years, he has prepared gifts for his children every year on Lei Yuechuan's birthday. "I will calculate how old the child is this year, and buy the child the corresponding age child likes, for example, when the child is still young, I bought Transformers toys, when the child reaches school age, I buy pen stationery, last year was Lei Yuechuan's 22th birthday, I bought him a golden tiger."

Lei Wuze said that this year he prepared two gifts for his son, so that the number of birthday gifts in these years has reached 26.
On the afternoon of June 6, Lei Wuze, who had already arrived in Shenzhen, said that he planned to meet with the police and others on June 24 to further discuss matters related to the reunion.

Although he has not yet seen his son, Lei Wuze is already planning a reunion banquet, and he said that he has ordered 1,<> buns from Sun Haiyang, who runs a bun shop. "I thought of this last year, when I told Sun Haiyang that when I found Chuanchuan, I wanted to find him to book buns for the reunion banquet." Lei Wuze said.

In addition, Lei Wuze said that after finding Lei Yuechuan, he will continue to help other families looking for abducted children. "We all have the same experience, and I want everyone to believe that with the help of all sectors of society, we can find our children." Text/Reporter Qu Chang

Lei Wuze’s saving grace came from a cutting-edge facial-recognition software dubbed “Face Recognition 2.0 Prototype” by the Chinese press. It was used by police to find likely matches using an aging model based on photos of Lei Yuechuan as a child. Earlier this year, Wuze was informed that his DNA perfectly matched that of a 26-year-old man in Shenzen, over 900 kilometers away from where Yuechuan had been taken. A second DNA test was conducted, and the match was confirmed.

Interestingly, Wuze had been to Shenzhen several times, on one occasion even staying a few kilometers from Yuechuan’s home, but he always returned home
disappointed.
