Universal Studios has announced a new ride coming to its theme park inspired by the “Fast & Furious” film franchise. The studio made the announcement via the @fastfurious Twitter account, which stated that the ride, "Fast & Furious – Supercharged," will be ready for thrill-seekers visiting the Hollywood park in 2015. According to reports from The New York Times, the ride will be "a movie-thrill ride hybrid in which occupants of Universal’s famed back-lot trams will be encircled by 400-foot-long movie screens." Riders will feel like they’re being pulled through the streets on the trams at speeds of more than 100 miles per hour according to Chick Russell, a Universal Creative executive producer. Filming of the seventh installment in the "Fast & Furious" franchise resumed on March 31 after it was placed on hold following the tragic death of the star, Paul Walker, in November. Huffington
