Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie has joined the cast of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. Variety reports that the British actress will take on the role of Commander Lyme, replacing Lily Rabe who is unable to continue the role due to her commitment to a Shakespeare in the Park production of Much Ado About Nothing. A past victor of The Hunger Games, Lyme is a Commander of the rebellion in District 2 and rather ruthless in her campaign against the Capitol. She is described in the books as being over six foot tall, muscular, and having an “unforgettable face”. Christie, who plays warrior woman Brienne of Tarth in HBO’s hit show, will reunite with Game of Thrones co-star Natalie Dormer, who plays film director Cressida in the Mockingjay movies. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 will be released on November 21st, while Part 2 comes out November 20th, 2015. Source
