Kate Winslet has admitted that the nude drawing of her in ‘Titanic’ haunts her to this day. After Leonardo Di Caprio’s Jack painted Kate Winslet’s Rose “like one of his French girls” back in 1997 for ’Titanic', the nude drawing has endured thanks in part to DVD, video, and of course the internet. A keen fan was seen handing Winslet a copy of the sketch at the UK premiere of her new film ‘Divergent’, so we just had to ask her whether she'd signed it or kept it for her drawing room. “I don’t sign that [picture]. It feels very uncomfortable. Why would you do that?” Winslet tells us in our video above. “People ask me to sign that [picture] a lot.” “There’s a photo of it as well that someone has lifted from a still of the film, and that photo gets passed around too. I’m like ’No! I didn’t mean for it to be a photograph that I would end up seeing still 17 years later.’" “It’s still haunting me. It’s quite funny really.” The actress shot to fame in 1997 thanks to her starring role in the much-hyped ‘Titanic’ which went on to become the highest-grossing film of all time until James Cameron dethroned himself with 2009’s ‘Avatar’. She draws direct comparisons between her meteoric rise with that of her ‘Divergent’ co-stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James, who are both tipped for big things in the future. “What Shai and Theo are going through right now is exactly the same as what Kate and Leo were going through. It really is no different.” “In fact, I think it’s probably harder for them, because of the digital world… It’s just happening much faster for them than it probably did for us." Yahoo
