KUALA LUMPUR: The present low-cost carrier terminal (LCCT) will be closed by May 9, a week after the opening of soon-to-be-launched Kuala Lumpur Internetional Airport 2 (klia2). Deputy Minister of Transport, Datuk Abdul Aziz Kaprawi said klia2 is on track to be opened by 2 May with four airlines starting operations at the new airport. These airlines include Cebu Pacific, Mandala Airways, Tiger Airways and Malindo Airways. Aziz also said passenger targeted growth into Malaysia this year is 9.7 per cent and he is confident that it is achievable despite the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 incident. NST
