 KUALA LUMPUR, March 28 ― Twenty-five locations in the country recorded moderate Air Pollutant Index (API) reading, while 27 others registered good air quality as at 7am, according to the Department of Environment (DoE).  The DoE website reported that the 25 locations with moderate API reading included Kuala Selangor (with an API of 84), Banting (82), Port Klang (78), Seri Manjung (73), Nilai (70), S K Jalan Pegoh (Ipoh) (63) and Shah Alam (63). The locations with good air quality included Kota Tinggi (32), Langkawi (38), Kota Kinabalu (20) and Kuala Terengganu (19). An API reading of between zero and 50 indicates good air quality; between 51 and 100, moderate; between 101 and 200, unhealthy; between 201 and 300, very unhealthy and over 301, hazardous. http://www.themalaymailonline.co ... -air-quality-at-7am
