 ALOR STAR: An eight-month-old baby who suffered from severe skin inflammation after visiting a private clinic here last month, died at the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital early today. Muhammad Nasrullah Khairul Nizam was pronounced dead at 1.25am due to severe skin infection while being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).  The baby had suffered from severe skin inflammation for a month after being prescribed with a medication by a private clinic in the city on Feb 16. His father, Khairul Nizam Lebai Jusoh, 41, said he a doctor at the clinic had prescribed his son with four types of medicines. "My son's condition deteriorated after two days taking the medicines and suffered from skin inflammation. "He was admitted to the hospital for 10 days ago before his condition worsened yesterday night," he said. Muhammad Nasrullah was buried at the Permatang Buluh Muslim cemetery in Kota Sarang Semut at 9am today. -NST.
