Red Sparks, the women's professional volleyball player, has renewed its contract with coach Ko Hee-jin, 44. The contract period is 2+1 years, up to 2027.

Koh took the helm of the association in April 2022. In the first year, he recorded 19 wins and 17 losses in 36 games. He failed to advance to the semi-playoff by a one-point gap in the regular season league as he ranked fourth.

This season was quite different. Using the newly introduced Asian quarter system, Koh selected Mega as an apogit speaker and Jia the outside heater for the position of a foreign player. It was a bold decision that broke the existing framework.

As soon as he got into the game, Koh displayed strong attack volleyball. On top of that, he successfully built a strong team with his coaching philosophy emphasizing three elements: physical strength, skill, and mental strength.

Jeong Kwan-jang recorded 20 wins and 16 losses this season. He finished third in the regular season, experiencing his first spring volleyball tournament in seven years.  메이저사이트
