Who can criticize SK? Main player 'Injured' → EASL runner-up → 4th place in th .

I don't think anyone can criticize the Seoul SK Knights this season.

SK lost 77-97 to Busan KCC Aegis in the sixth round of the "2023-2024 Season Jeonggwanjang Professional Basketball" held at Sajik Stadium in Busan on the 8th.

The loss ended SK's journey this season. SK, which had lost to KCC in both the first and second rounds of the 6PO, was shut out by KCC.

Obviously, until last season, both teams were completely opposite. In the 2022-2023 season, KCC failed to advance to the semifinal PO due to a shutout loss to SK. However, this season, KCC succeeded in revenge and secured a ticket to the semifinal PO.

It is certainly true that SK had an advantage. Thanks to finishing the regular season in fourth place, SK earned its home advantage and played both the first and second rounds at Jamsil Student Gymnasium. However, they failed to take advantage of their home advantage and lost to KCC twice.

This season was not a failure for SK. First of all, SK maintained its top position by winning 12 consecutive games in the beginning of the season. In particular, young volunteers such as Ahn Young-joon and Oh Jae-hyun stood out.

However, the injury hampered his performance. Heo Il-young was out due to injury from the beginning of the season, and even Kim Sun-hyung, who can open the game through dribbling, was absent due to ankle injury. SK failed to accumulate many wins during Kim's absence due to injury.

To make matters worse, Ahn left the team midway through the season with a knee injury. After failing to appoint a starting member, SK fell into a losing streak. In the end, SK lost the second and third places to LG in Changwon and KT in Suwon. By the end of the season, even Oh Jae-hyun was out with an ankle injury.

The harvest was in its own way. SK advanced to the final with a victory over Anyang Jeonggwanjang in the semifinals of the 2023-2024 East Asian Super League (EASL). Although it was disappointing to finish in second place after losing to the Chiba Jets, I was able to confirm Jeon's outstanding leadership.

All of SK's bad luck this season can be attributed to its tight schedule of games. SK, which had to play the EASL at the same time, had a tighter schedule than other KBL clubs, and had to play a regular league game just a few days after visiting the Philippines.

Naturally, the physical burden on the main players was inevitably increased, and the overload led to injury. Nevertheless, SK succeeded in entering the PO in fourth place after playing a final game of the regular season.

SK lost to KCC and failed to advance to the semifinals, but it cannot be seen as a failed season. One of the reasons may be that KCC has been in good shape since the end of the season and showed extreme attack in the 6th round PO.
