Rivers Casino and Resorts Synektadi has officially launched legal sports betting in New York State with the opening of a new Rivers Sportsbook lounge.

Casino delegates, guests, and local dignitaries gathered at Rivers Casino today to cut the ribbon of the state's first legitimate sports betting site. Designed by Chicago's DMAC Architecture of Chicago, the new Rivers Sportsbook is a luxury sports lounge and occupies 5,000 square feet. Club chairs and table seats accommodate about 80 guests and include five private booths with TV monitors, each accommodating up to six people. The lounge also includes 18 individual VIP seats and 32 table tops.

The Rivers Sportsbook has an impressive state-of-the-art 53' x 9' LED video wall that anchors the sportsbook viewing area, along with 22 additional TV monitors. The sportsbook also includes 14 betting kiosks and a betting window with six staff to accommodate guests. The Rivers Sportsbook is located in Van Slic's Lounge, right next to the casino's main gaming floor.

Rivers Sportsbook will offer bets on a variety of sports events, including professional football, basketball, baseball, hockey, football, college sports, and more. Bets include, but are not limited to, straight bets, parlay, total, and in-game bets. Bets can be placed at betting counters with live sportsbook writers during Rivers Sportsbook operations, or at 24-hour sports betting kiosks.
