North Korea's women's soccer team, which defeated South Korea in the quarterfinals of the Asian Games after a controversy over a referee's misjudgment, beat Uzbekistan in the semifinals and advanced to the finals.

In the finals, they will face defending champion Japan.

This is reporter Kim Pyeong-jeong.

In the 3rd minute of the first half, Ji So-yeon was tackled with both feet, which resulted in her being sent off, but the North Korean player only received a warning.

The match between South and North Korea in the quarterfinals sparked intense controversy as Son Hwa-yeon was sent off after being hit by the opponent's goalkeeper's fist.

North Korea advanced to the semifinals amid biased decisions and rough play that raised eyebrows.

They displayed overwhelming prowess against the ambush of Uzbekistan.

After taking the lead with the first goal 9 minutes into the game, they scored 3 goals in the first half alone.

In the second half, they had a 'goal storm', hitting the net 5 times and winning 8-0.

North Korea, which advanced to the finals, will compete for the gold medal with Japan, which defeated the host country, China.

In the past eight tournaments that included women's soccer in the Asian Games, North Korea won three times and Japan won twice.

Previously, in the men's soccer game against Japan, North Korea crossed the line by pushing the referee and threatening the Japanese medical staff.  토토사이트

It has been reported that the Japan Football Association submitted a letter pointing out North Korea's anti-sports behavior to the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

North Korea also showed signs of discomfort when our media referred to them as 'North Korea' or 'North Korea' at the Asian Games, and used South Korea's country name as 'puppet', causing controversy both inside and outside the stadium.
