Manchester United striker Rasmus Hoyloun, who scored five goals in four games in February, has been nominated for the English Premier League (EPL) Player of the Month award.

The EPL Secretariat announced the candidates for the February Player of the Month award on its official channel on the 29th.

Hoi-loon made the list. Hoi-loon was included in the nomination along with Phil Foden (Manchester City), Joao Gomes (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Pascal Gross (Brighton and Hove Albion), Rodrigo Muniz (Fulham), Bukayo Saka (Asnal) and Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa).

In need of a striker, Manchester United suddenly recruited Hoylun during the transfer window last summer. Manchester United invested a whopping 75 million euros in the contract. Hoylun was nicknamed the "second Elling Holan" striker.

Contrary to expectations, Hoi-lun was disappointed at Manchester United in the early days of his transfer. He remained silent throughout the first half of the season, scoring only one goal in the league. Hoi-lun, who seemed to have lost his chance to eat and run, became a completely different player in the second half. Hoi-lun scored goals in six consecutive league matches from the match against Tottenham Hotspur in the 21st round to the match against Luton Town in the 25th round.

Hoi-Lun's performance was remarkable in February, too. Hoi-Lun scored in every game he played in February. He accumulated six offensive points in February, scoring five goals and one assist. United won every game Hoi-Lun has scored.

Hueirun's likely opponent is Saka and Watkins. Arsenal ace Saka scored a whopping six goals in February. Watkins, Villa's main striker, made four goals and two assists. If Hueirun wins the Player of the Month award, he will be the first player of the award since joining Manchester United.
