Thomas Tuchel has decided to return to the Premier League as his next destination. If he goes back to the Premier League, he wants to take the helm of Manchester United.

"Coach Tuchel is considering returning to the Premier League. According to German news, if he returns to the Premier League, he will be interested in the Manchester United manager position."

Tuchel took the helm of Bayern Munich during the last season. He quickly reorganized his team that was shaken by Julian Nagelsmann and won the Bundesliga championship, but failed to overcome his slump this season. He lost to Bochum and recorded three consecutive losses including the Cup, before declaring that he would leave Bayern Munich after the season ends.

Last summer, he brought Harry Kane from Tottenham and Kim Min-jae from Naples to complete the best core line in Europe. It was expected that he would be able to win the UEFA Champions League beyond the German Bundesliga, but when he opened the lid, he was not. He failed to control the team and was on the verge of failing to win the Bundesliga title due to the undefeated Leverkusen.

When the Champions League was also likely to fall in the round of 16, Kim Min-jae was put on the bench and brought up a central defensive combination of Eric Dier and Mathias de Licht. There was also a response from the local community that "one of Bayern Munich's best stars fell to the bench," but they won the 3-0 scoreless victory, and the two combinations were considered the best duo in the second half.
