Speaking to the media after the event, Choi said, "I've been training hard, and I've been saying to (Song) Sera since the qualifiers, 'Let's meet in the final,' and it came true, so it feels great to win gold. There hasn't been a gold medal at the Asian Games, so I'm happy that I did my part in my position."

Choi, who made her national team debut in 2010, has had a stellar international career, but has yet to win an Olympic gold medal. She won silver in the team event at London 2012 and Tokyo 2020.

"I won my first gold medal in the individual event at the Asian Games, but winning gold doesn't change my mindset. It's more like a gift for all the hard work I've put in," he said. "Although I'm retiring from the national team, I will continue to fence for my club."

"When I looked at the bracket, there were a lot of difficult opponents, but it was good to play against world-class players," said Song Sera, who won a valuable silver medal in her first 카지노사이트 Asian Games appearance. "Although I lost to (Choi) in the final, I would like to congratulate her from the bottom of my heart. It will be a meaningful memory."

Song said, "I had a hard time training in Korea, but I overcame the hard training and performed well. I will continue to work hard in training and perform well in major tournaments."

Upon hearing the news of her senior In Jung Choi's retirement from the national team, Song said, "I don't know if I can fill her shoes, but if I work hard in my position, I think I will have good luck in the future. I will always do my best."
