Step-by-Step Instructions for Making the Most Outstanding Glass Object in 3Ds Ma

Is this your first time using multimedia software? If you have a project that requires you to make a glass object, you could struggle. Any application might be intimidating the first time you use it. And the problem appears to be more worse when you work on a client project using multimedia applications! However, if you follow these guidelines, you will find it simple to make a glass object with exact effects.

The First Step

First, sketch your glass object on a sheet of paper. Now, using a scale, draw a straight line over it. Take a close look at one of the halves you've made and make a note of the outline of that half. But keep one thing in mind: never choose an asymmetrical glass object for your first endeavor.

Step 2:

Draw half of the glass object in the left viewport of 3Ds Max, just like the one in the paper. As your guide line, draw a uniform circle in the top viewport. Looking for a institute where you can learn animation course in delhi? Well your search just ends here because you can go to TGC India for that. They are the best.

Third Step

Go to the settings and look for a tab under 'Modifiers.' Choose 'Bevel' from the drop-down menu, and then choose the first choice in the 'Pick Profile' box. It will take you to the project you are currently working on.

Fourth step

Convert your 3D item to a polygonal mesh so you may fine-tune and personalize its shape even further. Remember to remove the guiding circle from the top viewport that you added at the start of your project. Use 'Booleans' to cut and mould the 3D object according to your project's specifications.

5th Step

Delete the faces of the polygons on the object's topmost brim and replace them with vertex points. Weld the vertices wherever necessary to thicken the glass item at the bottom and thin it at the brim. Selecting and chamfering the brim edges will make the object more realistic.

Sixth step

Choose Vray render farm and enable subdivision. Concentrate entirely on 'Adaptive Subdivision,' and set its parameters to 50. Maintain the 'Glossiness' setting at 1.0 and select black as the 'Exit color'. Set the 'Fog Multipliers' to 0.025 and enable the 'Alpha Effect' and 'After Effect' effects.

Seventh step

It is now time to focus on the lighting. Although you can select your preferred sort of illumination, 'Omni' is great for a beginner. Turn on Vray shadow, as well as its sub-options 'Transparent Shadow' and 'Area Shadow.' Fill the background with white. Eighth step

If the glass object does not reflect and refract the light that falls on it, it will not appear realistic. As a result, work on the 'Material Editor.' To fine-tune the output, use an HDRI map, enable 'Spherical Environment,' and set the 'Multiplier' to 1.0. Finally, render and submit your project!
