Indian Visa For Russian And Singapore Citizens

Viewed 1801 times4-7-2022 11:05 PM

An Indian Visa for Singapore and Russian citizens is available for short-term visits in India. Singapore citizens can apply for an e-Medical Attendant visa and a tourist visa to India. Singapore citizens can also apply for an e-Conference visa. When applying for a Singapore visa, be sure to fill out a form that is specific to you. Make sure to check the visa fees before you submit your application.

Exemptions

Exemptions from Indian Visa are available to Russian, Singaporean and Chinese nationals, among many other countries. Russian citizens who are residing in Singapore are granted a visa-free entry to India for up to 90 days. Singapore citizens can also visit India without a visa. But you have to remember to apply for a visa well in advance if you want to visit India. There are a few requirements to apply for an exemption, though.

First of all, a visa-free entry is not granted to Singaporeans, Korean, Japanese, or Philippine citizens unless they are travelling with their immediate family members. This visa-free status only applies to the traveler's immediate family members, and not to extended relatives or acquaintances. This is a temporary measure, and you'll need to reapply for it in due time.

Requirements

If you are a Singaporean citizen and wish to visit the Russian Federation, there are some specific requirements you need to meet. You must get an invitation from a Singaporean citizen who lives in Russia. The invitation should state the purpose of your visit, the names of the cities you plan to visit, and the number of entries you want to make. The visa is valid for the period specified in the invitation. Moreover, if you plan to make more than one entry, you can get a multiple entry visa.

In addition to the passport, Singaporean citizens will need to provide photography and scanned passport copies. They must also have a return ticket from India. Failure to provide these documents can result in the application being denied. Personal details are required for each applicant, including name as it appears on the passport, date of birth, and place of birth. Other information requested is educational qualifications and marital status. The Indian visa website will provide more detailed information on these requirements.

Application process

The Indian visa application process is relatively easy. All you need is a valid passport, a recent digital photo of yourself (without any facial gestures or other distracting objects), and a scanned information page of your passport. Unlike the traditional visa application, you can submit your form in Russian or Singapore, so make sure you read the instructions carefully. The process can take up to 90 days, but it is generally recommended that you submit your application three to four weeks in advance.

The consulate will require a fee of SGD 42 plus a service fee. Fees vary according to nationality, visa type, number of entries, and processing time. If you are a Russian citizen, the visa application centre charges SGD 42 plus GST for each application. You can pay the fees in cash, or with a major credit card. If you prefer to pay in cash, you can do so at the Russian Visa Application Centre.

Documents required

Foreign nationals who want to travel to India can apply for a tourist visa. This type of visa is easy to obtain. However, it must be presented along with your passport page and visa or immigration card. You should also provide a copy of your invitation letter and proof of payment. The visa is valid for the specified period. You can apply for a single or double entry. The process can take several days, depending on your visa application and travel plans.

To apply for a private visa, you need an invitation letter from a friend, relative, or authorised travel agency. Your original passport must have two blank visa pages and be valid for at least six months after you return home. Besides your invitation letter, you will need a photocopy of the country of destination and a copy of round-trip tickets. Your Indian visa application will not be processed if you fail to submit these documents.
