Dutch citizens must fill out a form with the required information and submit it before travelling to India. The application process can be completed online using iVisa. A business card or an invitation letter from a hospital in India can also be submitted. An additional document that the Indian Immigration Officer may request is a letter of medical care from an Indian hospital. Once the application has been approved, Dutch citizens can then proceed to check in at the airport.

Getting a decision on an eTourist visa

An electronic India visa for Dutch citizens can be applied for online. This type of visa allows Dutch citizens to travel to India for a number of purposes, including short-term tourism, sightseeing, meeting relatives, and attending a yoga course or short-term course. Once approved, Dutch citizens can enter India for a maximum of two months and multiple entry within that time frame. A decision on an Indian eTourist visa will be sent to the applicant within three to four business days.
