Sunshine Coast MP Andrew Wallace Elected As Speaker of the House of Representati

House of Representatives Speaker Andrew Wallace is the son of a motor mechanic and a carpenter. He has worked in construction for 25 years and has been elected twice to Parliament. Prior to entering Parliament, Wallace was a carpenter and a barrister. He now works in the area of health and safety as a Surf Life Saving Club Patrol Captain and member of the club's 24-hour emergency response team. He also has a strong passion for helping young people and has previously been a President of the Sunshine Coast Children's Therapy Centre.

Mr Wallace lives a clean life, does not drink or gamble, and rides his motorbike all over Canberra. His cycling and motorbike riding activities have earned him respect. His nomination was seconded by Angie Bell, the member for Moncrieff. The former MP praised him as a 'good listener' and a 'dignified person'. In the House of Representatives, he faces tough competition from Labor's Rob Mitchell, who is a Victorian MP.

Mr. Sunshine Coast MP Wallace is a backbencher in the Queensland Parliament. A former barrister, he joined the Liberal Party in 2016. He has been a member of parliament since 2016 and is a father and grandfather. He was shocked to learn that his daughter is gay. He was shocked to learn that she is living with a gay partner, but was determined to get over it. In the meantime, his political career is proving to be a great success.

Andrew Wallace is the new Speaker of the House of Representatives. He is a Liberal backbencher and MP for the Sunshine Coast. He replaced former Speaker Tony Smith, who resigned after his election. The Labor Party nominated Mr Mitchell, who is a former MP for McEwen in Victoria. However, Wallace won the election by more than 70 votes. He will be the first Queenslander to hold the position since Peter Slipper in 2012.

The Liberal Party nominated Andrew Wallace for the position after Mr. Smith retired. He was elected as the new Speaker after Tony Smith stepped down. In the House of Representatives, he is the second most influential member in the Liberal Party, after Mr. Pauline Wilson. The Sunshine Coast's government is the seat of the Australian Labor Party. It has a strong, conservative tradition. And it's no surprise that the new leader of the Australian government has a history with the Liberals.

The new member of parliament for the Sunshine Coast, Andrew Wallace, has recently been elected to the House of Representatives after a highly contested election. He is the former carpenter and a former barrister. He is a member of the Liberal Party and was appointed Speaker by the House in November 2021. After the election, he resigned as the Speaker of the Australian Parliament, replacing Labor Party member Rob Mitchell.
