Askum semua,


Nak tanya sikit, camner saya nak buat internet sharing between 2 pc? perlukan software tak?

each computer ader satu network card and i have bought USB netlink untuk connect those 2 computer, so tak payah guna extra network card.
tapi saya tak tahu camner nak set up subaya pc no 2 boleh share internet denagan main PC

Tolongla remy...saya tak tahu langsung nie...bagitau dari A to Z kay...
PC saya running window 2000. Tolong baitau secara detail ok...sebenarnye saya belajar kat U and uni hanya provide satu komputer untuk pasang internet setiap office, so saya nak guna laptop saya untuk share internet dengan main PC yang disambung ke internet source.

Assuming dua dua pc running windows 2000, so i rekemenkan ICS.

Kat Main PC (PC yang directly connected to internet source)
Login as a Administrator or account yang ada Administrator privileges.
Open the  Network and Dial-up Connections folder by right clicking My Network Places on your Desktop and selecting Properties.
Kat sana you will see list of connection available for that pc. Pilih connection yang connect the pc to internet, then right click and select Properties.
Kat properties sheet tu, ko click kat sharing tab.
tick enable Internet Connection Sharing for this connection.
Click OK.
kemudian ada satu warning box keluar memberitahu yang IP akan diubah. Click yes.
Kemudian Reboot.

Kat Client (Your Laptop)
Open the  Network and Dial-up Connections folder by right clicking My Network Places on the Desktop and selecting Properties.  Then right click the connection for your LAN and select Properties.
Go to the network card's TCP/IP properties and set it to Obtain an IP address  automatically  and Obtain DNS server address  automatically.
Click the Advanced button and remove all Default gateways.
Click OK.
Kemudian masuk kat Command Prompt then type ipconfig
if IP Address appears as 0.0.0.0, ko type ipconfig/renew
Kemudian testlah surfing sama ada mahu atau tidak.

Note:
IE = Open Internet option, click LAN setting and make sure Automatically detect settings is not checked.

Actually without ICS pun korang boleh buat internet sharing manually, but its more complicated and tak sesuai untuk begineer.

saya akan connect 2 Pc tue guna USB netlink...kena instal driver dia...

nampaknya kena buat satu memo sepecial untuk SOFTWARE2 such as... LINUX/VP dan yg sewaktu dengannya...


software camni dah slalu sgtr bagi explaination.... so buat sticky kat situ... BEGINNERS leh refer...

memang la keluar dos box yg nampak sama, tapi sebenarnya lain. command.exe 16-bit, cmd 32-bit
command.exe dlm folder system32, cmd built in dlm kernel
command.exe tak support long filename

kalau teliti, boleh nampak kat atas tu tulis windows 2000/xp ver ... bila start cmd, tapi kalu start command, dia tulis DOS.

dikekalkan utk run dos application 16-bit, tak buleh start 32-bit appliction (dos 32-bit lah)

tak boleh sbb games tu akan cuba access hardware layer. kalau nak main dos games under windows, cuba guna dosbox

bdasarkan pengalaman aku
yg baru je dpt guna modem streamyx

ada hub
ada 2 pc guna windows xp

boleh dah connect ke internet 2-2 pc tu

cumanya...
kalau 1 pc tu boot guna win98
langsung tak boleh la nak connect

camna nak buat eeek???

modem tu connect ke mana?
kalau ke PC memang problems mcm nie biasa berlaku.
