Kaba is a cubic shrine in the middle of the city of Mecca. The shrine is covered by an expensive dark cloth made out of silk and satin, embroidered with golden koranic verses (and decorated by gems). On one of the corners of Ka抌a, there is a black stone covered by gold. This stone looks like a kind of meteor that can be found in the asteroid belt. The room inside Ka抌a is a forbidden place to visit. Only the king of the nation, the Imam (priests) of the city, and on rare occasions Muslim kings and princess are allowed to enter that room, (Nobody else knows what is displayed in its interior). Surrounding the shrine from four sides is the huge mosque called "alMasjid alharam". It is capable of holding around two million people at once. Ka抌a and the mosque are considered the most holy places on earth and the represent first direction for prayer. Islam teaches that Allah (the god of Muslims) chose the site of Ka抌a and commanded Adam to build a sanctuary there for the purpose of worship. This event was supposed to have happened right after Adam and Eve were thrown out of the Garden of Eden. Allah gave the black stone to Adam (in order to use it as the corner stone) for building the shrine.
(It is important to notice that, in the Koranic version of the story of Adam抯 fall, there is no mention of G-d抯 provision of skin garment 憇acrifice?[Genesis 3:21]. From this window one can see that Islam is a religion that is 100% designed to support the work of the flesh as the requirement for salvation. The blood and sacrifice of a substitute has absolutely no room in Islam). According to Islam, Adam and his descendants for generations worshipped at the holy?shrine, but when Noah抯 flood came the shrine was destroyed and its location remained unknown until the time of Abraham. Furthermore, according to Islam, Allah commanded Abraham and his son Ishmael to rebuild the shrine at the same site and use the black stone remaining there as the corner stone. Meanwhile they restored monotheism by calling all men to worship Allah and to gather at the site for Hajj every year.
According to the Koran, it was Abraham and Ishmael who instituted "Islam". Muhammed came to restore what was corrupted in Islam (that includes Judaism and Christianity) and to seal all prophecies. They also believe that the Well of Zamzam was dug by Ishmael. They believe that the water of Zamzam can heal them from all kinds of diseases. (There is no mention in the Bible that Abraham and Ishmael ever went down to that area. There is no archeological or historical evidence that can prove that Ka抌a existed since the time of Abraham and his son.)
Some other questions can be raised here. For example, if the story was true, why didn抰 God ask Moses and Israel to go to Ka抌a and worship there, instead of making a tabernacle? Why didn抰 Allah tell David (if he had ever spoken to him) that he already had a house down in Arabia? Why wasn抰 Jesus ever dedicated to G-d at Ka抌a instead of at the temple? Or at least, why didn抰 he need to go to fulfill His 慸uty?of Hajj as Allah has commanded?).
The best speculation a sincere and logical person can come up with is that Ka抌a was undoubtedly established and Hajj instituted some time during the early AD centuries. There is, in fact, evidence that can prove this speculation. For example, the examination of pre-Islamic Arab poetry....
When Muhammad appeared, Ka抌a was already there and was considered a religious, political and commercial center. Prior to Islam, some 360 idols surrounded it and Allah was their chief god. Interestingly, during Muhammad抯 early adulthood (before his "prophethood"), Ka抌a had to be renovated and, of course, it was he who had the privilege and honor to re-install the black stone as the corner stone for the new building. Afterward, Muhammad used this fact to prove to the Arabs of his time that he was the messenger of Allah. The moving of the black stone, according to Muhammad, was a sign from Allah to the people that he was Allah抯 true messenger. Ka抌a has been renovated at least twice during the past 1,400 years. The most recent renovation was just before last year抯 Hajj. Now, Ka抌a stands anew again like a young, 慴eautiful?and strong woman.
When Muhammad received his prophethood from Allah, he urged his followers to perform the Hajj, even during the time of his escape to, and exile in, Medina. When he defeated the Meccans and seized their city and shrine, he decreed the Hajj and made it a pillar of Islam. He also instituted the rituals relative to it and the times to perform them. Those rituals are the same ones that Muslims perform to this day. However, there are two kinds of Hajj. There is a regular, 憇mall?one called "Umra", and then the 慻reat?Hajj, which is officially called "Hajj". Umra can be performed at any time of the year and takes only one day, but Hajj is to be performed only once a year and takes several successive days.
The main point to emphasize is that the city of Mecca and its abominable shrine of Ka抌a have covered and fulfilled most of the characteristics of the Bible's 'harlot'. If you compare the information about Mecca from the physical, historical and spiritual dimensions, it's amazing to note how she perfectly fits into the harlot抯 picture, as described by John in Revelation 17! Ka抌a as a whole is indeed a literal idol of the false god. She doesn抰 look like an image or statue, but two strong elements that prove her idol status are the fact that Muslims have to bow their heads toward to an object and black stone.
During the 1st day of Hajj, pilgrims must spend the day at Mecca and perform the ritual called "Tawaf". They are required to turn seven times around the Ka抌a and try to touch and even kiss the black stone. Kissing the stone is considered a blessing, privilege and honor. Pushing, shoving and elbowing their way, strong pilgrims can reach their goal, but weaker ones are cast out or even stepped on and crushed under the feet of others who are trying to get near the stone. The bodies of those who die in that ritual are to be immediately buried. According to Muslims, this is not barbaric torture, but a sacrifice "Jihad" for the sake of Allah. Of course, the victims?relatives viewthe death of their family member as Allah抯 blessing for their loved ones and something that gives them honor and pride as well.

Well, it's just another cut-n-paste from Truth. Surely, there's nothing like deity of moon god in the Kaabah. Actually, you guys are speculating & manipulating since the Muslims are forbidden to enter the Kaabah except for the VIPs (if I'm not mistaken). How could someone with pure soul & claiming himself holy like you could speculate anything like that? Pure soul but full of hatred!!!!!!! Did Jesus curse you???? |

Well, if we worship the black stone, I'm very sure we have black stones in our home to be worshipped. But we don't! |

why such rule apply to that king of arab??? Jesus taught that a place of worship is open to anyone.
If this King is open about anything, then let public enter inside one by one. or least let me in.
There something fishy going around in that dark room. Don't tell me river of wine and milk flowing there too? or 72 virgins

But it doesn't mean we're worshipping the stone. It's a sunnah! Can you differentiate that?
The discussion is getting very dull esp. when you have someone......... (PRAISE THE LORD) like Truth participating in the forum. |

Most surely the first house appointed for men is the one at Bakkah, blessed and a guidance for the worlds. In it are clear signs, the standing place of Ibrahim; and whoever enters it shall be secure; and for the sake of Allah, pilgrimage to the House is incumbent upon men, (upon) every one who can afford the journey to it, and whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is Self-sufficient (independent) of the worlds. A Short History of the Ka'bah
It is mutawatir and definitely known that it was Ibrahim al-Khalil (a.s.) who built the Ka'bah. The residents around it at that time were his son, Isma'il, and the tribe of Jurhum (originally from Yemen). It is an almost square building whose sides face the cardinal points of the compass; the winds, no matter how strong, lose their force when they strike it - without doing it any harm.
The construction of Ibrahim stood intact, until it was rebuilt by al-'Amaliqah, and later by the tribe of Jurhum (or vice versa), as has been described in the earlier narrated tradition of the Leader of the Faithful (Ali, a.s.).
When the management of the Ka'bah came into the hands of Qusayy ibn Kilab - an ancestor of the Prophet - in the second century before hijrah, he demolished and rebuilt it on firm foundation, putting a roof of doom palm timber and date-palm trunk on it. He also built 'Daru 'n-Nadwah' (Council House) on one side. It was the place from where he ruled and where he held counsel with his colleagues. Then he divided various sides of the Ka'bah. among different clans of the Quraysh and each clan built their houses at the side allotted to them; and they opened their doors towards the Ka'bah.
Five years before the. start of the Prophet's mission, there came a flood which destroyed the Ka'bah's building. The Quraysh divided among themselves the various responsibilities connected with its reconstruction. They hired a Roman mason to build it and an Egyptian carpenter to help him with the woodwork. When the time came to fix the Black Stone, a dispute erupted as to which clan should be accorded the honor of putting the Black Stone in its place. Then they agreed to leave the decision to Muhammad (s. a. w. a.), who at that time was thirty - five wears old - because they had full faith in his deep wisdom and sound judgment. He got his robe, and putting the Stone on it, told all the clans to hold the sides of the robe and raise it together. When the Stone reached the required height (on the eastern corner), he took it in his hands and fixed it in its proper place.
But the Quraysh found their funds exhausted. So they reduced the size on one side - as it is today; thus a part of the original foundation was left out, and that is the portion known as 'Hijr isma抜l |

Hahahahhaha!
Before 1970s the room inside was not forbidden to be entered by Muslim pilgrims - it just an empty room! My local Imam been inside there in 1950s.
According to Islamic law, when a person inside kaabah wanna pray he could pray facing any position because he's inside the focus point!
During the washing ceremony, the King of Saudi will enter with some VIPs bringing pails of zamzam water to wash the floor. I've seen the clips - they just throw water on the floor. Nothing was inside!
Why fella Muslims are not allowed to enter - 2 millions pilgrims fighting to get inside is not a good idea duh!!!!

That is Islamic law which created by Muhammad. No wonder the Jews and Christians, The People of the Book rejected him.
We do not need any focus point to worship God.Only those without faith need all those systems

Zamzam water, just like the pagans ritual. It remains me about the Hindus who has black stone (lingam) and wash that stone with rose water, milk, sandal wood powder. Very similar to what muslims doing now.
Nothing is so great about zam zam water. it just water and muslims putting faith with zam zam water rather than God. I guess this must be another Arab Muslims tactic to commercialize the zam zam water, after all the whole Hajj is purpose to make money by Arab government.
Water is water and nothing so great about zam zam water. Faithless religion.:agr:
How do u know nothing inside the dark room??? u seen b4???
