A camouflaged BMW 2-Series Coupe prototype crashed on the German autobahn during testing.
The accident took place Saturday evening and according to the local media the driver of the 2-Series Coupe lost control of the vehicle due to high speed. It clipped the right side beam barrier for about 50 meters and then stopped after 150 meters on the left lane. Because of the crash, debris hit four other cars which were nearby.
Although pictures show we are dealing with a serious crash, the good news is the driver escaped with only minor injuries. The 2-Series Coupe that was wrecked is not the hotter M235i version and could possibly be the 225i or a diesel-powered variant. It doesn't really matter that much as long as the driver is ok.
