SHAH ALAM : While Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed may not exactly be interested in having a wax figure of himself at the country’s brand new wax museum, he would not mind having one at home.


“I am not a celebrity,” he joked when asked if he would like to see a wax figure of himself at the Red Carpet wax museum at I-City here.
The former prime minister said that having a wax representative of himself would come in handy especially when he hosts open houses like during Hari Raya.


“I wouldn’t mind having one at home so my guests can shake hands and take photos with the wax figure instead of me. I do get very tired during my open house,” he quipped during a press conference after his visit to the interactive wax museum which is now one of Malaysia’s premier tourist attractions.


During his visit, Dr Mahathir posed for photographs with the wax figures of former prime minister Tunku Abdul Rahman, United States President Barack Obama and Queen Elizabeth II, and said that I-Berhad, the developer of I-City, had done a very good job with the museum.


When asked for his Merdeka message to Malaysians, Dr Mahathir said Malaysians have to learn to share power and wealth.


“We are seeing a trend that is not healthy because races today are much more divided than before. Malaysia started off with an agreement to share power and wealth.


“If we destabilise the country, everyone will lose.”

best nih, pasnih ada ostad2 amik biter nih buat bahan ceramah...

bahan ni akan dinaikkn oleh pakar2 agama, lobai2, olamak2 donia, pemimpin2 islam donia tuk berceramah kehulu ke hilir, mungkin keluar berdemo, pah tu ni la modal PAS PIS PUS PRU-14 nnt......
