Nissan customers experience Asia’s 1st ever Treasure Hunt

at LEGOLAND® Malaysia

JOHOR BAHRU, 5th March  2013–Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) partnered with LEGOLAND® Malaysia forits Nissan Treasure Hunt event on the 2ndof March 2013. The 1stever Treasure Hunt in Asia was held at LEGOLAND Malaysia open exclusively for Nissan customers.

Expressing his excitement about the partnership with LEGOLAND Malaysia,Dato’ Dr. Ang Bon Beng, Executive Director of ETCM said, “Sincelast year, we have collaborated with LEGOLAND Malaysia Driving Schooland Junior Driving School to give children an opportunity to learn the rules of the road and drive on a real-life traffic circuit. Thistime around, we are glad to be able to conduct the Nissan Treasure Hunt 2013 at LEGOLAND Malaysia. Our customers have been great supporters and we wanted to reward them with a truly unique and funevent.”

ETCMis committed towards rewarding its customers through constantengagement and activities throughout the year.  
The Nissan Treasure Hunt 2013 flagged-off at 9.00 a.m. from ETCM’s,Johor Jaya showroom to LEGOLAND Malaysia. Participants drove their own vehicles and convoyed together as one big Nissan familyget-together. A total of 117 participants in 33 Nissan cars lined-upfor the flag-off.

Participants were treated to lots of fun-filled activities upon their arrival atLEGOLAND Malaysia. There was the ‘Spot the Difference’ activity for where participantshad to identify the difference between two vehicles; Nissan Almera1.5L (A) E vs. Nissan Almera 1.5L (A) VL and 2013 Nissan Teana 2.0L(A) vs. 2013 Nissan Teana 2.5L (A).

The “treasure hunters” had to also decipher clues on signboards inthe theme park and look for marshals to get their passports stamped.Nissan customers were brought back down memorylane where they revisited their build Lego models when they weretasked to Each participating team had to also snap a picture together with the newlylaunched 2013 Nissan TEANA 2.5L which comes with a black sleekinterior and blind spot warning system that was on display at theDriving Schools. More than 100 customers participated in this inaugural event.Prize presentations and lucky draws were held at the end of the dayat Horizon Hills Golf & Country Club.The topthree winners received cash prizes of RM1000 (1stprize), RM700 (2ndprize) and RM500 (3rdprize) respectively.

“Besides the Nissan Treasure Hunt at LEGOLAND Malaysia, we will also beorganising another get-together for customers with the Nissan Jurassix Park 4x4 Adventure event in Sarawak at the end of March2013. At this event, all Nissan 4x4 owners will get the chance tofeel and experience Nissan NAVARA’s toughness, durability and comfort - in other words, a “Mother Trucker” experience,” added Dato’ Dr. Ang.

From April 2013, ETCM will also be conducting Road Safety and CitySurvival Workshops for all its regions. These events are organized due to the over whelming response from previous workshops held lastyear on the importance of crime prevention and road safety.
