GROUP of friends have recreated an iconic 1955 Mercedes race car worth £60K – out of JUNK.
The three car-loving men took seven months to reinvent the classic 300 SLR ''Uhlenhaut Coupe'' using 10,000 pieces of scrap metal that they had painstakingly sourced. Although their incredible hunk of junk can't be driven, it's still worth a whopping £60,000.
The German pals - Armin Ciesielski, Peter Brakel and Walter Willer – all work at Giganten aus Stahl which translates as Giants of Steel. The original Uhlenhaut reached an unprecedented 180mph when it was tested in 1955 – and would have been the fastest car in the world if Mercedes had put it into production. But the speedy roadster was deemed too fast at the time and only two prototypes still exist at the Mercedes museum in Germany. Armin said: "The Uhlenhaut is a really special Mercedes and we wanted to make a replica. "It took me and my friends seven months of hard work to perfect and we used more than 10,000 pieces of metal.
"The car was a very difficult model to make because of all the intricate details and we made the engine look identical to the original. It weighs nearly 1,000kg."

On the off chance that you constantly drink pop, at that point you can gather soft drink jars made of aluminum and sell them as salvaged material also. Any electronic gadgets, for example, washers or dryers are a decent hotspot for salvaged material. Metal Recycling Installations in your washroom may have copper wiring and lines for plumbing might be made of copper also. Copper is an ensured cash creator. Metal racks can likewise be reused.
