Yusuf Haslam lega Syamsul dan Sarah dah tak bermusuh, boleh berbuka bersama

Pengarah dan penerbit terkenal, Datuk Yusof Haslam bersyukur apabila hubungan antara anaknya, Syamsul Yusof dan bekas isteri, Puteri Sarah Liyana sudah kembali jernih selepas bercerai pada 2023.
Yusof berkata, mereka sudah terbuka untuk bersama dalam sebarang acara keluarga seperti majlis berbuka puasa yang diadakan di ibu kota, baru-baru ini.
"Kami sekeluarga ada berbuka bersama termasuk Puteri Sarah, Syamsul dan besan lain. Saya mahukan itu, kalau ada perceraian berlaku jadikan hubungan seperti kawan.
"Janganlah bermusuh dengan isteri atau suami. Dunia ini kecil sahaja, pusing-pusing akan jumpa balik.
"Kalau ada sahabat yang sebelum ini kita bergaduh atau berselisih faham, ambillah jalan berdamai," katanya ditemui pada sesi rakaman program Melodi Raya 2025 di Balai Berita, Bangsar, di sini, kelmarin.
Pada masa sama, Yusof juga bersyukur Syamsul sudah kembali ke pangkuan keluarga dan akan menyambut Aidilfitri bersama, tahun ini.
Sehubungan itu, Yusof berkata, sekiranya berlaku sebarang perselisihan sesama ahli keluarga, maka pilihlah jalan damai dengan membuang sifat ego dalam diri.
"Jangan simpan dalam hati kerana tidak akan tenang. Jiwa akan memberontak dan rasa semua perkara serba tidak kena.
"Begitu juga saya lakukan, sekiranya ada buat salah, saya sendiri akan minta maaf. Bukan apa, kadang-kadang semua ini ego sahaja.
"Saya fikir tak mengapa mengalah demi mencari kedamaian. Begitu juga dengan isteri, kalau bergaduh saya juga akan ambil langkah mengaku salah supaya keadaan tidak jadi lebih keruh," katanya.
Sebelum ini, Syamsul dikatakan tidak pulang ke rumah ibu bapanya selepas bernikah kali kedua dengan Ira Kazar pada 6 Januari 2023.
Bagaimanapun, Syamsul melafazkan cerai talak satu terhadap Ira pada 5 September tahun lalu, selepas 21 bulan berkahwin.
