This is the works of JW Benson.. a watchmaker.. not a jeweller.. from London in 1885


It was inlaid with Diamonds, and other precious stones.. origin of those diamond is unknown, but.. some says from Brazil and Africa, some says it came down from Lord Allenborough, the owner of the cursed gold dining set owned by HH Albert Baker OR.. the famous legends said, it comes direct from the treasure of "Kota Perbendaharaan Permata" by orang asli sometimes in 1880's..

Renown watchmaker amongst the British and Russian Aristocrat... worths million now in antiquity market... and one of his remarkable work still standing at Teluk Anson's Leaning Tower at Perak





How they influenced HH Albert Baker to make them made a Crown??? unknown..... The Johore State Crown is the only 1 crown made by J.W Benson.

What else did J.W Benson did????

I try to trace back relation of JW Benson and HH Albert Baker, the answer were found at home, in Mudah.com..






This set of button were used by JMF Officer since 1886, 7 buttons per set.. meaning that :

(7 Buttons X 3 set uniforms for each officer) X 1,200 total JMF Officer in 1914 = 25,200 buttons supplied by JW Benson to HH Albert Baker and HH Ibrahim at one time

The famous jeweller sought after by British, Russian, France aristocrat... and HH Albert Baker

He also made the Crown of Queen Victoria from Koh-I-Noor's diamond, which is known to have bloody curse

He is known to design, and made all the diamond jewelery for Sultanah Johor from the time of HH Albert Baker to the time of HH Ibrahim in 1960.

and he also made all the Johor State's Medallion from gold and silver inlaid with beautiful enamel.. from 1885 to 1960's





BUT,

He is not giving opportunity to made the Crown State of Johor...

Why?????

klau dlam kes ni, sultan ade crown sndiri, tp klau sultanah lak, ade tak special tiara tuk diorg?

lg 1, berat crown sultan ni aku tngok cm berat je,sal gambar almarhum sultan ismail pakai crown ni pun cm membongkok skit kepala dia, stakat ni yg aku tau, crown yg berat dkalangan crown keluarga draja parsi, shah iran pahlavi ngan farah pahlavi,
farah pahlavi pnah ckap yg crown yg dia pakai, mahkota noor el ain sngat berat  dan dianggarkan sekitar 2.5kg berat dia....

yang ini salah satu tiara untuk sultanah johor...sbb pernah nampak sultanah nora pakai (skang TPN) kalung yang tunku puan zanariah tu pun rasanya one set dengan tiara tu...turun temurun

both zanariah and nora pun guna mahkota yang sama macam gambo yang atas sekali tu (dengan sultan ismail)

JAWAPANNYA :

Garrard, si pembuat krown of Queen tu... adelah pencurik besar..

size asal diamond sumpahan koh-i-noor yang berada di mahkota queen British skarang adelah 1/3 daripade size asal.... ditarah dan dicanai menjadi kecil.. royal british were regretted on the result produced by Garrard.. but somehow.. dorang tetap pakai diamond tu smpai skarang..

SEBAB ITU...

HH Albert Baker lebih senang menggunakan khidmat JW Benson dari si Garrard si pencuri ni...
