uses a laminate lithium-ion battery pack with an output of over 90 kilowatts.
the car’s drive motor gives out 80 kilowatts of power Nissan claims  has a mileage of 100 miles.
the car  has regenerative braking and can recharge the batteries in 30 minutes
to 80 per cent capacity with a quick charger,  
from a 200 volt socket it will take around 8 hours for a complete charge.

kalo aku, aku akan still maintain beli normal combustion engine, sbb aku tak nak jadi consumer lab rats. at least 3-4 tahun dah ada kat market baru aku consider.

mengingatkan aku masa IPOD 1st gen.

yep elok ko beli...jadi lab rat kita orang ...kalau ada problem bila dah retify baru kita orang pulak beli...worth investment ape..

dah jadi trend skrg ni, loan keta sampai 9-10 tahun.
umpan pembeli no deposit dan 100% loan menjerat ramai orang terutama pemandu baru..
kelak bila elect car kuar, keta petrol jadi besi buruk
hutang xhabis2 lagi..

skrg pun keta lama bakal jadi besi buruk bila syrikat insurance naikkan charge
dan xmustahil nnti terus tidak ada cover dan gagal utk hidupkn roadtax ...

Production for the retail market is expected to begin in early 2012, with a base price of $57,400. The base model will have a range of 160 miles (260 km) when fully charged, and a 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 km/h) acceleration of 5.6 seconds. There will also be larger battery packs available with ranges of 230 and 300 miles (370 and 480 km). (The prices for the larger battery packs have not been announced yet.) Normal charging times will be 3 to 5 hours, depending on the battery capacity, and a 45-minute QuickCharge will be possible when connected to a 480 V outlet. In addition, a battery swap will be possible in less than five minutes.

The Nissan Leaf (sometimes formatted as "LEAF": Leading, Environmentally Friendly, Affordable, Family Car) is an electric car announced by Nissan in 2009. The Leaf uses a front-mounted electric motor driving the wheels, powered by a 24 kW•h/90 kWlithium ion battery pack.
The battery pack is made of air-cooled stacked laminar cells with manganese oxide in the cathode. The battery and control module together weigh 480 pounds (220 kg) and the energy density of the cells is 140 W•h/kg.
The battery can be charged from 480 Volt, 220 Volt and 110 Volt sources.
With 480 Volts, it can be charged to 80% capacity in about 30 minutes with a special quick charger that sends 480 volt 125 amp DC to the battery. With 220 Volt, it can be charged in 8 hours.

The Subaru G4e is an electric car undergoing development and testing by Japanese automaker Subaru. It was unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show. The car seats five in a functional, accessible interior and has an innovative wedge design with a low 0.276 drag coefficient. It has a range of 200 km and can be fully charged in about eight hours from a home AC power source. A quick charge to 80 per cent of the batteries' capacity is possible in just 15 minutes.

The Focus BEV uses a 23 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, has a range of 100 mi (160 km) on a charge and a top speed of 85 mph (137 km/h). Recharging time takes between 6-8 hours using a common 230 volt socket

dn masa charge juga mesti semakin kurang...

recharge station.
yang tesla model s tu bagos.. 400km+++ boleh buat pegi cameron highland ke... kat kampung mane2.. mesti susah nak charge.
