unix scripting: minta tolong

Camne nak baca dr flat file/xls
pastu extract value , masuk ke output file

cth:
test.xls
column1  column2  column3
1             2              3
11           22            33
-------------------------------

script akan loop and read  column2 and append ke string, output ke myfile.txt, spt dibwh:
myfile.txt
the result is 2 value;
the result is 22 value;

diakhirnya test.xls tu kene delete.

So, ade sesiapa leh tolong. mekasih byk.
