bukan tak komited bro, derang sanggup stop operation the whole wrc campaign derang sebab nak follow honda masuk f1, tapi derang masuk f1 pakai team yg sama manage operation wrc derang, maknanya takde experience f1 la, mana leh sama ngan team yang berpuluh tahun establish dlm f1

skarang kilang toyota kat amerika nak buang 1,000 pekerja tak masuk kilang lain sluruh dunia lagi, so kalu tak jore gak musim ni maknanya toyota kira out la dari f1 musim depan

bagi aku tak komited langsung..team lain pun kalo diikutkan yg berpuluh2 tahun masih lagi bertahan sampai skrg..aku respect dgn beberapa team ni semu even ada yg aku rasa benci skit

sbg cth..team Williams..even lepas berpisah dgn BMW pun masih lg nak bertahan..sana sini cari sponsor..last2 bertahan.Ada yg cakap williams akan bankrap.Jika betul2 telus komited kalo berminat takkan tgglkan F1..

Ferrari..still selamat even dah berpuluh2 tahun race..dan selamat akibat krisis ekonomi tahun 80an/90an.Kalo diikutkan bleh je  keluar F1 alasan production kereta rugi takde sale

mclaren..even aku tak suke team. ni..but ajaib bleh bertahan jugak..rebranded baru ramai yg minat balik.Geng dgn mercedes jadi mengancam

Team honda..bos jepun mabuk tinggalkan team terkial2..stupid japan..nick fry sana sini dgn muka tebal mintak tolong org sponsor..kalo tak diambil alih dlu masih lg race tahun ni..

stupid japan car company..lepas ni arab mabuk mana plak nak ambil alih. team F1

toyota -> wel what can i say more

willliams -> memang respek ah,  team bukan factory g lain semua dah bungkos,
tinggal derang je lagi terkial kial

ferarri -> no ferarri no f1, sampai gitu sekali bond ferarri & f1, penah sekali masa
memula tuko enjin v12 ke v10, derang takmoh ikut, siap ugut nak quit f1
dan masuk rival series Champcar, terus fia bagi kelonggaran kat derang

mekleren -> aku pun menci jugak, tapi lepas merc amik alih dah strong dah skarang

honda -> sama macam ford & peugeot, masuk cuma nak menang je, kalu tak
menang derang akan kata projek membazir, buleh belah

Talking Point: Greatest qualifier

Who is the greatest qualifier in Formula One history?

Every week in the off-season Eurosport will offer a point of discussion for F1 fans, in conjunction with our online poll. So let us know what you think.

Jim Clark

The two-times world champion took a brilliant 32 pole positions in only 72 grand prix starts and was a superbly composed driver who remained with Lotus throughout his career. Clark also missed out on two further titles due to oil leaks before a tragic tyre failure in an F2 race at Hockenheim in 1968 ended his life. The Briton's 25th and final race victory on the first weekend of that season took him past the record set by Juan Manuel Fangio.

Juan Manuel Fangio

Fangio holds legendary status in F1 thanks to his five World Championships, achieved with four different teams and only bettered recently by Michael Schumacher. The Argentine started 51 grands prix and took pole in more than half of them - 29 in all. Older than his peers, he completed seven full seasons - finishing as runner-up in the two he did not win - and qualified for the front row a remarkable 48 times. After retiring in 1958 he was captured by members of Fidel Castro's Cuban revolutionary movement for purposes of exposure, but released unharmed. His record of titles lasted for 46 years.

Mika Hakkinen

The 'Flying Finn' almost died at the final grand prix of the 1995 season in Adelaide when, having crashed into a wall during practice, an emergency tracheotomy was required; however he recovered to continue a career which saw him collect 26 starts from pole to help him to two drivers' titles and 20 GP wins from 165 appearances. He announced his arrival on the scene in spectacular style when, replacing the departed Michael Andretti at Lotus, he out-qualified superstar team-mate Ayrton Senna in Portugal; he took all of his race wins and poles during his nine years at McLaren. A remarkably fast driver.

Nigel Mansell

Mansell suffered first and second degree burns on his Formula One debut when he carried on driving after a fuel leak in the cockpit, an incident which illustrates his aggressive, daring approach to F1 racing. He won one World Championship in 1992 - although bad luck robbed him of another two - after becoming a British hero with a sensational win at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in 1987. Suffering 32 crashes in his 191-race career across several teams, he also took 32 pole positions and was immensely quick over one lap - standing third in the world in fastest laps, fourth in wins (31) and fifth in poles.

Michael Schumacher

The relentless German holds the record for pole positions achieved with 68. In 16 seasons Schumacher won seven driving titles, including five in succession with Ferrari to end the Italian marque's 21-year drought; his total of 91 victories is 40 more than nearest rival Alain Prost. He also courted controversy after crashing into Damon Hill to win his first title with Benetton in 1994 then was stripped of second place in the drivers' standings in '97 after unsuccessfully trying to ram Jacques Villeneuve off the track. He also bent the rules in qualifying, parking his Ferrari at Monaco in his final season in 2006 to prevent anyone beating his time.

Ayrton Senna

Senna was the previous holder of most poles with 65 and, like Schumacher, a hero to millions of people around the world. Revered for his passion and drive to succeed, the Brazilian brought success to Lotus before winning three championships with McLaren. His feud with team-mate Alain Prost boiled over into tit-for-tat first-corner collisions but there was no one more spectacular on a flying lap, as shown at Monaco in 1988 where he kept bettering his time until he finally finished two seconds faster than Prost in identical machinery. "Suddenly it frightened me because I realised I was well beyond my conscious understanding," he said at the time. "I drove back slowly to the pits and did not go out any more that day."

He paid the ultimate price when he crashed at Tamburello in the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix at Imola, dying instantly.

More F1 'secrets' to be exposed to fans in 2009?

Fri 30 Jan, 12:03 PM

Fans to discover more F1 'secrets' in 2009 Formula 1 fans will be privy to more information in 2009 than they have been used to in the past, with the broadcasting of more pit-to-car radio transmissions during grands prix and the possible publication of cars' weights after qualifying.

Whilst television viewers have already been able to listen in on - occasionally colourful - selected in-car radio conversations, thy have hitherto been just that, selected. Henceforth, former ITV-F1 commentator James Allen has revealed in his online blog, teams will no longer have the option of filling the public in only when they press a button on the pit wall - but rather will have no control over what is broadcast, and when.

Moreover, the FIA has stated that it is musing over the idea of publishing the weights of all the cars after Q3, thereby making it clear how much fuel each one has on-board for the opening stint of the race - and making it possible to calculate the 'real', fuel-corrected grid positions ahead of the action.

Allen, however, who has commentated for ITV since the sport's switch to the independent broadcaster back in 1997, but will not now be moving to the BBC - admitted he is not altogether in favour of the new proposition.

"I think it is mad," he contended, "as it takes away from the suspense of the opening part of the race and might make teams inclined to do more-or-less the same thing on fuel strategy as each other, which will create more of a procession."

Panasonic, Philips losses to hit Toyota and Williams?
With a number of significant Formula 1 sponsors already well known to be feeling the economic pinch in the wake of the current global credit crunch, it has now been suggested that Toyota title backer Panasonic and Williams' investor Philips could be set to either reduce or scrap their support too.

According to the Associated Press, Panasonic President Fumio Ohtsubo has revealed that the company is to implement some cut backs over the coming financial year, in addition to pulling out of certain businesses and products and closing down some foreign manufacturing plants.

'Panasonic Corp. said it will cut 560 jobs in Asia due to the closure of two plants in the region,' reported AP, 'while declining to confirm a report saying the Japanese electronics giant will likely suffer its first net loss in six years.'

In November, the US-based Bleacher Report claims, 'Panasonic slashed its full-year sales and profit forecast by about 90 per cent' – from an expected annual net profit of 310 billion yen back at the beginning of the financial year to just 30 billion yen ($315 million). Leading Japanese business newspaper Nikkei has predicted that the net loss could be as great as 100 billion yen ($1.1 billion).

To blame for that dramatic slump, Panasonic has stated, are reduced consumer spending, lack of product demand, poor export prospects given the appreciation of the yen and restructuring costs.

Moreover, chief rival Sony has confirmed a nigh-on 95 per cent fall in its third quarter profit from nearly 200 billion yen ($2.2 billion) in 2007 to about 10 billion yen ($110 million) in 2008, and the company is set to end the fiscal year counting an operating loss of 260 billion yen ($2.9 billion), its first in 14 years.

Dutch conglomerate Philips, meanwhile, has reported a fourth quarter loss of €1.47 billion and is set to lose as many as 6,000 jobs, with 'cost-cutting' understood to be of the essence. With Williams already facing the potential loss of key backer the Royal Bank of Scotland, should Philips also withdraw it would be a hefty blow indeed.

sponsor makin payah, kalu takde sponsor williams gerenti bungkos aritu derang dah hampir bungkos sebab takde sponsor kan

Good news eberibadi

Evening race confirmed for Malaysia
Malaysia will join Australia in shifting the start time of its grand prix to the late afternoon following pressure to accommodate the sport's core European television audience.

While most races are scheduled to start at 14.00 local time, the second round of the 2009 season at Sepang will instead start at 17.00 local time, running through the evening.

Malaysia has been approached about the possibility of joining Singapore in hosting races under floodlight, but this is being seen as a compromise for the time being.

The new time also applies to qualification, although the free practice sessions will take place at their normal time, unlike in Australia where nearly sessions are set to be held in the evening.

Changed in order to comply with European television audiences, without discounting Asian viewers, the changes mean the Malaysian Grand Prix will start at 10.00 GMT this year.
