aku dah google.. benda putih mcm ulat tu actually segmen tapeworm called proglotid yg akan jadi telur cacing. adeh... ni semua pasal kutu le ni.. |

Kucing I pernah kene masaalah ni
Tak bawak pegi vet pun...
I pegi pharmachy beli ubat cacing untuk kanak2 (pil)
pastu i potong agak2 sebesar kacang hijau.
Bagi kucing i telan satu ari 1X selama 4 ari.
Alhamdullilah, dah takde masaalah tu lagi.
Belanja pun murah, kurang RM10 rege ubat tu. |

boocik baru beli ubat pil utk tapeworm & roundworm dari vet sect. 13, shah alam.
dia kata ubat tu efektif utk 6 bulan. kalau ubat biasa selalunya utk 3 bulan jer...
dia bagi 1/4 pil tu for RM5 (utk kitten umur 2 - 6 bulan). kalau kucing lbh besar dia akan bagi 1/2 pil (dos lbh besar), harga mungkin dlm RM8...
mmg efektif ubat cacing pil tu. boocik bagi kat stray kitten yg dtg rumah boocik tu, dlm masa sehari jer kitten tu dah berulang2 berak & perut dia dah tak buncit mcm dulu... |

itu bkn kelemumur hunny. it's ringworm a.k.a kurap.
kurap ni selalunya appear macam kelemumur. treatment selalunya in the form of antifungal pills, creams or medicated shampoo.
masalah utama ialah supaya spora kurap ni tak "re-infect" kucing u lagi sbb selalunya spora2 ni akan jatuh atas karpet, so u kena mandikan kucing u selalu. it is also recommended supaya u buang semua pet bedding, blankets, brush/sikat, scratching posts and other items yg digunakan oleh kucing tu dulu. barang2 yg tak bole dibuang tu u kena rendamkan dlm air panas + betadine utk 1 jam. Lps tu bilaskan dgn campuran air + 0.5% chlorine bleach. habis semua tu, u kena jemur brg2 tu bwh matahari. |

1 of my cats pernah kena kurap ni. very kronik. ngiau2 non stop. dah tu berjangkit dan cepat merebak kat kucing lain. akak bawak gi vet, dia bagi injection. 3 days later, segala yg rupa dan kelemumur tu luruh hingga kawan tu cam kena cukur. Tapi mmg mujarab..kejap jer bulu dia tumbuh balik. |

There are a lot of reasons why your cat might be losing fur. Often, it's because he is chewing his hair and breaking it off, or pulling it out through excessive grooming. Sometimes, you may actually catch him in the act of chewing out the fur, or perhaps you've simply noticed that he is grooming himself an awful lot. More likely, you've noticed a hairless patch. Occasionally, owners will notice clumps of hair in the cat's normal hangout spots, or you might notice a sudden increase in hairballs.
A very common reason for cats to pull out their hair, especially around the base of the tail, is allergy to fleabites. If your cat goes outdoors, even in an enclosed space such as a terrace or balcony, it is possible for your cat to acquire fleas. For cats that are allergic to fleabites, it only takes a single flea bite to produce an intense and sometimes prolonged reaction. If this is the case, we can prescribe safe and effective flea preventatives, and can treat the inflammation caused by the bite using steroids and/or antihistamines.
Mites are another parasite that can cause cats to pull out their hair. There are several species of mites that can cause a condition called mange, which can cause cats to lick and chew themselves to try to relieve the itching. If mites are suspected, a diagnostic test called a "skin scraping" may need to be performed to try to identify the presence and type of mite causing the problem.
Ringworm is a fungus that is also a frequent culprit in cases of hair loss, especially around the face, ears, and feet. Hair disappears in small patches, and the skin turns dry, gray, and flaky. There are a number of oral and topical medications available to treat this pesky skin condition. Warning: ringworm can be transmitted to humans.
Localized pain may cause cats to lick an area excessively. An abscess that is brewing under the skin is painful and will attract a lot of licking before it opens and drains. Hair loss over joints may indicate arthritis.
Food allergy may show up first in the skin as small red spots that spread. These can turn into scabby or crusty sores that become infected as the cat rubs or scratches them. Itching around the head and face are usually what is seen in cases of food allergy. Food allergy and inhalant allergy can lead to eventual hair loss.
Cats on low-fat diets for long periods of time may develop dry, flaky skin, and the coat may become dull and greasy. This skin can then become irritated, and the hair coat may become thin in certain spots. Adding supplements of essential fatty acids to the food can provide relief. Omega-3 fatty acids are particularly helpful, and we carry special formulations of these supplements made especially for cats.
Finally, pulling or chewing out his fur due to psychological factors, such as nervousness, anxiety, fear, or stress. This condition is much more common than most people realize. Cats are very sensitive to their environment, and they do well when they're on a steady, consistent routine. Virtually anything can stress out a cat: a new baby, another cat or pet, guests, a change in food, even a change in weather! Cats groom themselves as a way to relax. It provides them with a feeling of comfort. Think about the last time your cat did something foolish or klutzy, like misjudge a leap or accidentally tumble of the sofa. We might laugh, but the cat immediately grooms. A cat that is chronically stressed may turn to excessive grooming as a means of dispelling his anxiety. If this is the case, there are anti-anxiety medications that are often very effective at controlling this problem. |

ni sama kes dgn my meekee...bulu ekor dia shedding..ingatkan pasal makanan...kadang2 usap mcm tu jek nahh segumpal melekat2 ...pegi vet..kena la inject...ni sbb kutu/virus fungal yg dah bertelur bawah kulit...tak nampak dgn mata kasar..nanti doktor cubet sikit bulu dia and tengok lah sendirik bawah mikroscope tuh...itu yg dah menetas..yg blom menetas ada bwah kulit..... memang kena inject dgn pill makan...oh ya doktor akan recommend syampoo malaseb...bagos sempu nih |

me punye mummy cat tu bulu die x gugur bila die tarik...kulit die pun xkering..die pun xde tergaru2...cam biasa je..rasanye sebb die keguguran ari tu kot tp solution die xtau nak bagi makan ape utk tumbuhkan bulu die balik.. |

kucing puteri memula saspek FIP - harap2 tak laaa..... pastu dia admited. then semalam doktor amik darah.. hari ni pegi amik result.. harap2 ok laaa hendaknya..
doktor kata ada juga kemungkinan tape worm.... aduihhh tolong laa harap harap kucing puteri ni ok hendaknya.. esp jgn laaaa FIP |
