Tesco jual Ayam Tak Sembelih

org yang makan kedai hari-hari macam aku lagi pening, mana kita nak tahu ayam tu dia source dari mana. Macam mana ek?

wa..  ayam tak sembelih...  nasib baik aku tak beli ayam kat pasaraya. Tapi ada lah jugak dua tiga kali makan ayam golek dia tu...

susah gen sbb kat tmpt akak pasar susah nak dpt... tesco jek yg dekat rumah!! tp skrg nih terpaksa cari sumber ayam lain lakkk!!!

nak mkn ayam halal pun susah!!!!

Hypermart sued over non-halal chickens

KUALA LUMPUR: A civil servant filed a RM5 million negligence suit against two companies and a hypermarket after discovering two out of three black chickens he bought were not halal.
Zainuddin Md Zin, 55, who is City Hall Culture, Arts, Tourism and Sports department deputy director named Perak Duck Food Industries Sdn Bhd, CKL Marketing Sdn Bhd and Tesco Stores (M) Sdn Bhd as defendants.

He filed the suit through the firm M.K. Othman and Co at the High Court registry yesterday.

In his statement of claim, Zainuddin alleged he bought the three chickens with the halal logo from Tesco Extra Cheras store about 6pm on Oct 28 last year.

The chicken was produced by Perak Duck and marketed by CKL Marketing.
He claimed that the next day while trying to cook the chicken, he found two chickens did not have their jugular veins and trachea properly severed.

Zainuddin informed CKL Marketing which promised to look into the matter and he decided to keep the chicken in the refrigerator.

On Oct 31, he and his wife met two CKL Marketing officers who verified that the two chickens were not slaughtered according to Islamic rites.

Zainuddin claimed he contacted a Tesco official who said it was the responsibility of the supplier.

Not satisfied, he reported the matter to the Halal Hub division of the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia and an officer verified that the two chickens were not slaughtered according to Islamic rites.

Zainuddin claimed that following his complaints, the Halal Research Division of the Perak Islamic Department conducted a raid on Nov 30, and found that the chickens were not being slaughtered according to Islamic rites.

He claimed that the three defendants were negligent and failed to consider the sensitivities of Muslims.

He is seeking RM1,375.77 in special damages and RM5 million in general, aggravated and exemplary damages.

Zainuddin is also seeking an injunction preventing the defendants from producing, distributing and marketing non-halal products and a public apology to be published in all newspapers.

sekitar lembah klang semuanya cina yang supply ayam yg telah sembelih...hala atau tidak aku tak tau tapi aku tak beli ayam di supermaket2 atau yg dijual longgok dipasar2...melainkan aku lihat penyembelih sendiri..... kerana aku tau banyak penipuan2 yg dibuat olih org bukan islam....
