Thought for the Day

FAILURE IS NOT A DISGRACE IF YOU HAVE SINCERELY DONE YOUR BEST.

We live in a competitive world that measures success by winners and losers, and insists that every victory creates a loss of equal dimension. If one person wins, it seems logical that someone else must lose. In reality, the only competition that matters is the one in which you compete with yourself. When your standard of performance is based upon being the best you can be-for yourself-you will never lose. You will only improve. Make it a practice to objectively review your performance from time to time. When you fall short, assess the situation and ask yourself: "Is there anything I would or could have done to change the outcome?" If the answer is "no," if you are satisfied that you抳e done your best, don抰 waste time reliving the past. Simply learn what you can from the experience, and then get into action again. If you consistently do your best, your temporary failures will take care of themselves.

great statement!!!

i add some .......

SUCCESS HAS NO MEANING IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU DO.........

the world we live today is full of tricks.....we live here to learn how to overcome the tricks......not to be tricked....

failure and success are all tricks......that trick us to unnecessarally feel good or bad about it.....actually things are beyong that...not just that....

thats why, failure are not that failure....success are not that success...

the real success is to do the right thing, whether you in the failure mode or the success mode....

Life is never measured by the years we live, but by the caring we do, the cheer we shared and the happy people whose hearts we've touched.

aiks.. why involve karma?

i think yin yang applies better.... white is white with black around and vice versa....

short is short with long around... so, gain is gain when lost is there....

when i gain, someone lost it.. when i lost something, something, somewhere it gain....

the most basic law of all....

Believe in your heart

Believe in your heart that something wonderful is about to happen. Love your life.
Believe in your own powers, and your own potential, and in your own innate goodness.

Wake every morning with the awe of just being alive.
Discover each day the magnificent, awesome beauty in the world.
Explore and embrace life in yourself and in everyone you see each day.
Reach within to find your own specialness.

Amaze yourself and rouse those around you to the potential of each new day.

Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect; this is the essence of your humanity. Let those who love you help you. Trust enough to be able to take.

Look with hope to the horizon of today, for today is all we truly have.

Live this day well. Let a little sun out as well as in.

Create your own rainbows. Be open to all your possibilities; all possibilities and Miracles.

Always believe in Miracles.

I've Learned

I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it may be better tomorrow.

I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles a rainy day and lost luggage.

I've learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.

I've learned that making a "living" is not the same thing as making a "life."

I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.

I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back.

I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.

I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.

I've learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone.

People love that human touch - holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.

From all this, what i have learn??

I've learned that I still have a lot to learn. Hope you do too......

You Create Your Future

If you stop and think about it, what we call the "future" is really only a product of our imagination. Each of us imagines the future out of our hopes and fears. If we feel good about ourselves, then we tend to focus on our hopes and dreams. On the other hand, if we don't feel good about ourselves,
we project our fears into the picture of the future, which we view in our heads.

Too often, we tend to focus on worst case scenarios of what might happen to us. Unfortunately, the more we focus on this and visualize the awful events that we imagine in our heads, the more likely they will come to pass.

However, if you can begin to imagine a more enjoyable, fulfilling and desirable "future" and to picture it on a regular basis, you will find yourself drawn toward bringing this "future" into being. Once you
believe that this vision of your "future" is possible, then you can really commit to creating it and you'll begin to take action. As you see yourself acting with greater optimism, enthusiasm, and purpose, you will become like a magnet, attracting into your life the ideas, people, resources and opportunities
that you need to bring about this vision.

Forget but Dont Forget

Forget about the days
when its been cloudy, but

don't forget your hours in the sun

Forget about mistakes
that you can't change now, but

don't forget the lessons
that you've learned
Forget about the times
you've been defeated, but

don't forget the victories you've won
Forget about misfortunes
you encounter, but

don't forget the times your luck has turned
Forget about the days
when you've been lonely, but

don't forget the friendly smiles you've seen
Forget about the plans
that didn't seem
to work out right, but...

Don't forget to Always Have A Dream
Keep Smiling
J
Have a Wonderful day!!!

Focus For Life

Whatever you dwell upon in your mind, you give power to. So of course it makes sense to focus on what you want rather than what you don't want. Yet there are many ways in which the things you don't want can sneak into your thinking.

Worry and doubt focus your thinking on what you don't want. Rather than worrying about the bad things that might happen, direct your actions toward making positive things happen.

Complaining can also get your mind sidetracked into thinking about what you don't want. What do you complain about? The things you don't like. Rather than complaining, take action. Action moves you toward what you do want.

Anger is one more way to get your thinking negatively directed. Rather than getting angry about what you don't like, use that energy to give you determination for what you want to achieve.

Keep your mind positively focused on the good things that life can offer. Those things will grow stronger and more abundant in your world.
