Zac Efron is 'The Lucky One'
Zac Efron stands behind a pickup truck as he films scenes for his new movie, The Lucky One, on Thursday (October 14).
The 23-year-old actor plays U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault in the film, which is based on the bestselling Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name.
In the story, Zac’s character does his best to adapt to normal life again after returning home from the Iraq War.
The Lucky One is scheduled to hit the big screen in 2012. |

Vanessa Hudgens: 'X Factor' Host?
Vanessa Hudgens arrives at LAX International Airport on her way to catch a departing flight on Sunday (December 5) in Los Angeles.
The 22-year-old actress is rumored to be lined up to host the American version of the hit UK talent competition The X Factor alongside her boyfriend Zac Efron.
While there is no confirmation, Vanessa and Zac would replace UK host Dermot O’Leary, who has been lobbying for the US position.
Simon Cowell, who is a judge on the UK version, will serve as a judge on the US version as well.

The 21-year-old actress is gearing up for the release of her new movie, Beastly, which opens in theaters in March 18! Here’s the full summary:
Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer) has it all — looks, intelligence, wealth and opportunity — and a wicked cruel streak. Prone to mocking and humiliating “aggressively unattractive” classmates, he zeroes in on Goth classmate Kendra (Mary-Kate Olsen), inviting her to the school’s extravagant environmental bash. Kendra accepts, and, true to form, Kyle blows her off in a particularly savage fashion.
She retaliates by casting a spell that physically transforms him into everything he despises. Enraged by his horrible and unrecognizable appearance he confronts Kendra and learns that the only solution to the curse is to find someone that will love him as he is — a task he considers impossible. |

Taking a break from filming, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted snuggling up to her boyfriend, Zac Efron, in Waikiki, Hawaii on Sunday (November 28). The “High School Musical” hotties looked to be in a romantic mood as they shared several hugs and kisses while waiting for valet to pull up with their car. Flying in for Thanksgiving, Mr Efron joined Miss Hudgens for the holiday as she got a break from filming “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.” In the flick, Hudgens portrays a Pacific Islander who gets swept into an island adventure and ends up falling for the lead character played by Josh Hutcherson. |
