Opinion on emo bands(mcr,fob,panic!,etc)

Baru2 ni byk band2 yg dilabelkan sebagai 'emo' d local dan international airwaves.Contoh band2 ni are My Chemical Romance,Fall Out Boys,PANIC! on the Disco(tapi tdk limited kpd mereka shja).Poll ni saja2 utk tahu opinion forumer2 CARI malaysia ni tentang band2 ni.

band band ni semua dah mengecapi mainstream success.. lagu lagu mereka listenable.. emo rock tu hanya tag.. competent musicians and composers though.

for me, the best emo band adalah yaphet kotto...

Emo-rocK??? C'mon.. they re not even rock at all. I can consider them as a pop-rock band... coz the way they achieve their mainstream success is not because of their music, but their attitude, attitude of their song and their look.

the only band that I quite like is Fallout Boys, dan satu-satunya lagu dorang that I listen to is This AInt A Scene tu, ITUPUN sebab dia sounded like JC Chasez

aku ponk tak suka. aku dah lama dgr muse dengan cursive. walopon mereka ada bawak muzik sounded like emo rock tapi cara mereka masih bersih. datang malaun berpesen emo yg dengan muzik emo dan berambut macam siot itu aku pelik macamane mereka bleh kate muse dengan cursive itu idola emo mereka. KEPARAT. AKU BENCI EMO! even aku dgr mcr tu sedap tapi pigi mampus la biar stakat kat tv dan radio je aku dgr lagu mereka. tak ingin aku donlod atau nengok/dengar mp3/video mereke.

kalau yg baru2 AFI, Brand New, The Used...itu emo

their music is brilliant, esp dashboard, taking back sunday

tapi yg tak brilliantnya...bila underage school kid perasan emo
and pakai baju ala2 cam hape

school kid yg emo sume mesti ade rujukan daripada band2 mereke. ade ke old school band yg leading fashion style macam tu. memang diorang tak mengaku mereka emo after mereka tau emo ni buruk dan ramai orang tak suka. tapi masih berfesen nuget seperti itu. panic at the disco tu ape cer dalam vclip dan live gig mereke? (yg aku dah npk) . memang mereke kate mereke more to tekno poprock blablabla sebab genre ni tak semua band bawak genre yg tetap. emo yg kite tak suke skarang ni bukannye intipati dari genre emo rock semata mata, jadi apabila lirik atau beat yg mereke bawak tu tak melambangkan keemoan tapi gaye dan atitude mereke seperti yg ditonjolkan mereka masih tak jauh dari kedudukan asalnya. sorry la kalo tak paham. aku malas nak huraikan. so aku pendekkan.

mcm2 ragam anak muda skang neh..zaman pokcik dulu..pokcik layan band dangdut metal..masyuk seh.. antara yg popular Sakinah Podah..dari Ulu Tiram Johor..

onstage style dan fashion style lain yek. onstage time perform je. queen berbeze style dia bila diluar. macam visual kei juge. onstage memang perform dengan weird fashion nye. bile diluar je takde nak fesen2. senang je aku cari band yg ala2 bookworm. banyak electropop band yg bookworm.

cara berpakaian tuh cam lirik laa jugak
kena expressive
cam weezer (yes..weezer was considered the first emo act)..lagu ala2 loser...hence the nerdy style
cam dashboard, lirik mellow skit...so dress up pon tak dress up sangat
mcr, more like opera rock...pasal tuh ada different theme for different album
p!atd pon...lyric ala2 quirky, pelik2 sikit...tak salah dia buat gaya2 circus tuh
